Is It A Good Idea To Blog In The WarriorForum?

I was just wondering...

I do not see a lot of people doing it, or even talking about it here.

but when ever I do see other members who blog here their articles actually get views.

What are your thoughts?

Do you think consistently blogging on the Warrior Forum is a waste of time and energy?

Or

Is it a good way to show other warrior members that you know your "stuff"
and is maybe drive some high quality traffic back to your own blog site?

Or

is it totally unethical to drive traffic form the Warrior Forum blogging platform to your own blog site?

and If this is something that is worth our time, how do you make the most out of blogging on the forum??

Look forward to a great discussion

My blog on here is a train wreck. lol

I think there is a "right" way to use the blog here. (not the way I was)

So if you are doing a WSO or you do sell a service or something specific to this forum, it is smart to use that blog that way.

I was looking for a post of mine a few weeks back on an offer that I'd purchased. I did a google search on the keyword, and that members blog post hit the top of the search engine result. Which also led me back to his offer.

I think if you'd want to blog here you'd have to spend a lot of time answering peoples questions and becoming known within the community.

I always prefer having my own blog so I can do what I want with it.

If you know what you're doing and you're targeting the right niches with the right keywords, it's a great idea.

Of course, you have to filter the traffic you attract.

Otherwise, you'd be better off doing something else

Yes, but if your own web property is not yet ranking, the blog on this forum will give you a quick kick.

And it leads back to why I have a problem with WSO sellers who insist on using an entire graphic for their sales copy. While it looks cool, certain keywords are getting no credit.

      Very true, Al.

But I will say I have just started doing it and simply use my Original material from my Blogs and place it on here ( after they have been indexed of course)

I haven't posted on my WF blog for almost two years. I just now checked & see roughly 1,500 views per page, so I guess someone is reading the blog section of this forum.

Well I just subscribed to your blog - so get to posting again!

I've not posted in roughly 4 years it looks like.

When I signed up for the War Room, one of the "selling points" on the sales/order page was the fact that you get your own Warrior Forum blog, which is great for generating traffic from Google.

I can only assume that means it's perfectly acceptable to use it for your own sites, so long as you post relevant content and don't spam.

More info here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...rum-rules.html (See under "BLOG RULES".)

As for the traffic benefits, now I'm getting some ideas.

Then again, this could just be my sleep deprivation talking.

    Regards,
    Daniel

    Hi Mike,

WarriorForum is quite certainly the No. 1 forum on Internet today.

However, it is more beneficial to build a bridge of communication and relationship with other Internet Marketers, rather than spamming your product with promotional posts.

It is not about showing how expert you are. Instead, it is all about how true and honest you are by sharing real life experiences.

I think it's worth blogging here in WF. It's a good platform to get familiar with new people everyday.

I was actually wondering this same question the other day and started browsing through some of the blog posts. I actually found a couple of Warriors doing a decent job and subscribed to them. They were posting very helpful content....so again posting something worthwhile makes a difference whether you're wasting your time posting or not. I already have my own blogs, but perhaps I could do a weekly or monthly type post here.

I read warriorforum to learn. And whenever I can answer a question, I share my knowledge and try to answer with what I learned. The traffic you get from signature is just a nice side-effect. Its a forum. Learning and teaching. Is it worth my time? If I know I can answer and help the OP, then its worth my time.
