    Of course launching your own product is an effective way to make money. If it weren't, the big names wouldn't still be doing it.

    The questions isn't is it an effective way to make money (for anyone); it's: is it an effective way for YOU to make money? Why not try boxing? Or be the next Walter White?

    What's your background? Experience? Budget?

    Being an affiliate in product launches has its pro's and con's. In summary though, you'll be promoting something that has a lot of momentum & exposure behind it but you'll be up against some big players. I'm seeing more and more exclusive launches too; so as a newbie you're going to have a hard time breaking through that.

    Basically, I wouldn't choose JV launches as your starting point into IM.

    There are so many options available to you to make money online though; it all depends on your budget at the end of the day.

    If you've got the cash: follow the money, pay for quality content, drive traffic with paid ads until you've got some organic momentum. If you haven't: choose a niche you have a lot of interest or passion in & put out as much content of you doing that thing as you possibly can. Grow a following that way

        You need to figure out what Niche within IM you want to pursue. I strongly advice against starting out with MMO Products.

        You should get some experience with Niches outside of this.

        You do not want to create a scenario where the "Blind is teaching the Blind"

    Hi Phuong,

    The short answer to your question is yes. You can make commissions with product launches, by piggy backing on the buzz.
    There are a lot of people doing it right now but you need to have your own approach. I'm assuming you have an idea how to proceed with this. Product launch piggy backing for traffic is not that sustainable however. You would have to do it consistently or your traffic will die out.
    You can shoot product review videos over a period of time to build traction... I recommend you follow a course and or one of the many free resources on this forum. Don't dive in blind.

    Terrible advice, actually.

    Piggy backing gets you nowhere.

    Profit margins are slim and sales are one-off.

    I did what you think you want to do and earned
    pocket change at best.

    Wasn't 'till I got the balls to put together my
    own products and services that I started making
    REAL money.

    ...and still do.

    Your margins will be greater.

    Business will boom faster.

    The downside is work will be harder...

    ...if you can call it a downside but, in this
    forum the idea of "work hard" is a downside,
    soooooo...

    ...that's what separates the wheat from the
    chaff.

    There are plenty of ideas and ways to sell your
    own products. Look at what's selling and come up
    with a creative approach. Make a video or two w/
    a PDF file and boom...product done.

    Now put up videos on video share sites targeting
    keywords, have articles written, rank a website,
    learn bing/facebook marketing, etc. and that's your marketing campaign.

    Simple.

    Or ride other peoples coat tails spending just as
    much time and effort for far less rewards.

    Choice is yours.

    Not a bad one. I mean, you are building their list
    and growing their business much faster than they
    could do on their own so...they won't complain
    about it.

    But they'll train and teach you to be a vendor for
    other peoples stuff for a "percentage" of a sale.

    Trust me, it's not by accident.
