What are the best steps to TEST?

Hi,

I think I heard somewhere there is a STEP BY STEP method to testing.

Such as:
1) test headlines first...
2) test first sentence
3) test benefit page
etc....
etc...

What is the best ORDER to test a sales page?

With some of the high level software out there you can do multi-variate testing, i.e test a number of different variables at the same time.
