Another way to get paid?

Hello everyone!

OK, short and to the point.

I'm writing an eBook on a subject that should appeal to a certain audience/customer. Problem is this audience, or a large percentage of them, may not have the means to order said product.

So my question is, how can I offer this to them for free and still get paid somehow? CPA/ incentive? What are some other means? Put the eBook up with Adsense?

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated!

Thanks everyone.

Richard

Referrals maybe? They give you referrals and if the people buy, you can give that person a free copy.

You can have affiliate links or CPA offers inside your ebook. Find something relevant and also helpful to your target market so that a percentage of them will take the offers. I don't know the topic nor the product so I can't be really specific.

You're going to find it hard to monetise an audience that cannot afford to buy anything.

I would set up a landing page announcing your book as a pre-launch. Get as many sign-ups are you can. If the numbers are high enough and there's someone who would be interested in sponsoring your book to reach those customers, go to them and offer your audience's attention on either a flat fee or per download basis.

      Ask them, not us.

Validate your products with the people who will eventually pull out their wallets and pay.

Why are you spending time working on a product you know the people it would appeal to can't afford? And if they can't afford your ebook, how are they going to buy something else down the line?

Even with CPA offers, the companies making the offers will want to see a return on the leads you send them. If all you send them are people who can't afford an ebook, you'd get cut off if I were running the program.

The idea of getting a sponsor is a possibility, but then the question comes up again - how is the sponsor going to make a return from your broke audience?

Adsense? How much do you think advertisers will pay to run ads for people with no money? Especially if it looks like you're incentivising people to click, which would get you booted from Adsense pronto.

I think you'll find the question will haunt you as you seek to monetize a product aimed at people who can't afford an ebook. Hate to sound so negative, but that's how I see it.

In your e-book give them the "how" for free and then sell them the "what" The "what" are the tools and resources they'll need to get the job done and get paid.

Thanks everyone! Some great info here.

I've been out of the game for a while and was just looking for some insight.

This audience, or at least a potential large part of it, would be teenagers age 14-17. It's not that they can't afford the eBook. Rather they probably don't have their own credit/debit card and such. Or they would have to ask mom or dad, etc...

I was just curious as to other ways to monetize in this particular situation.

Again, thank you everyone for your help!

You could do something like content locking and make them fill out an incentive cpa offer prior to downloading, it's hard to really help without knowing more details about the niche

It seems to me you are overthinking this a bit.

Your job is to persuasively sell the product. Their job is to figure out how to buy it. You'll know you've done your job by how well they do theirs. Not the other way around.

Just about every teenager I have ever known was able to buy the things they wanted to buy, if they wanted them badly enough (within reason, of course... very few teenagers are going to buy a Lamborghini)

Set up an landing page to capture email for those who are interested to download your free book.

Adsense ads at your download page.

Insert affiliate links into your free book.

What you can do you can use your book as a free give away lead magnet.
You give the book to the for free and if your book is e-book you can suggest some good affiliate offers to the and you insert affiliate link into the e-book so they can get it if they want and you can get a loot more sales that way than to just push e-book or product directly
