Finding the right products to promote?

Hi there,

Setting up your landing page and getting traffic to build an email list of subscribers are the initial phases of an email marketing business. After you have done that finding the right products that sell is important in order to get high conversions. Where to find great products that meets your customers needs and which are the best affiliate networks?

Best affiliate networks for physical products are Amazon Associates and Rakuten Network.

The only affiliate network I've used is ClickBank, and my process for finding good products are as follows:

    - I browse the related categories and take into consideration which products have a good sales page (to understand this you should start learning copywriting), and also what's the average commission.

    - If I like what I see, I would contact the vendor and ask for a review copy. If the vendor doesn't want to give one, I just buy the product myself and see whether or not the material is quality enough for my audience.

If you're building an email list, my second point is just as important as the first.

If you promote a high-converting but crappy product to your list they won't trust you again, and you can say bye-bye to repeat sales.

    Regards,
    Daniel

+1 for this tip. I know how important it is to have high quality product and how much it will effect on the sales rate but also in relationship between you and the customer. I would always recommend testing the product and give personal review or recommendation. Thanks danieldesai for bringing this up

Once you find a product you think might be good, you can get in touch with the creator of the product and get a review copy to see if it's something you'd like to promote. This will also help with future promotions and building relationships within your industry.

    Hey,

I've seen many ask the similar question
all the time, but what they do not realise
is that building relationship is key to
    selling....

Firstly you need to identify what niche you
    are in....

Then you can promote any product you like
    in that niche....

    BUT:-

The way its done is by building relationship
    and building a KLT

    What is KLT

    K-KNOW
    L-LIKE
    T-TRUST

The way this is done is by giving great value....
Start of by an optin page and follow it by a
    bridge page...

Then direct them to the sales page....

So the bridge page is a page that hangs in
the middle of a optin page and a sales page
where you record yourself and welcome them
and lead them on to a sales page...

This way they will know who you are...

Then follow up with emails giving them great
    value and gain trust....

When you can help them take their business
forward, then they will LIKE you and then you
can offer them any product that you know can
help them grow their business even more
    further....

    GOOD LUCK..
