Hello! My name is ari and i am 18 years old and i started learning about internet marketing. I am an elite student in kinghumanelite.com , and i have been learning for a few months about cps , cpa , seo and all of that. Do you guys know about another person that teaches these stuff? Kinghuman is good but very messy which makes it hard for me to learn something.
Also i opened a website but i am not able to generate organic traffic . I searched for keywords on google ads and the only traffic it gets is from social media that i build for a year . I would love to get some help thank you

Hey Ari, the first thing you need to do is decide on a business model.

While it's fine to know about all these different methods and/or models, you need to actually start doing something you can see yourself doing for the long-haul.

You only need to get good at ONE business model and serve ONE audience/market to start seeing results online (or even making the "big" money).

If this helps, I got started with affiliate marketing and it's how I first made money online.

Check out Affilorama.com if you're unsure about that.

Also, you mentioned trouble getting traffic... again, you just need to focus on ONE traffic source to start seeing results and once you can generate visitors to your site consistently, you can start implementing other methods.

Again, figure out what is your long-term goal and business model.

    Regards,
    Daniel

    Hello Ari,

There's no crowd in here on Sunday nights, but let's see what we can do. Post to your thread again in the morning and you will receive more replies. There are a lot of professionals in the forum.

Here is a starter list for you to follow and learn from:

    Pat Flynn for passive income
    Ben Settle for email campaigns
    ProBlogger and CopyBlogger for blogging
Jon Morrow at BoostBlogTraffic to learn how to write and Seth Godin to learn how to keep it simple.
Matthew Woodward is a must follow
    Travis at Bum Marketing Methods

Unless you have the finances to afford a multi-specialty coach, one whom you have thoroughly researched, the above experts are the way to go. When you hire a coach, it's better to have a visceral understanding of what you are doing and what you need to know to take you further.

    - Annie

PS: Daniel is right, a business model is really important. That should have been your first lesson and you can find Internet Marketing business model and plan suggestions on the 'net. That said, I changed my biz model 3 times before I landed on what's working for me. The other two were terrific practice as IM marketing has basic rules, regardless of the plan you end up with.

Yeah, you better discontinue "King Human's" "elite" program since you're clearly not getting your money's worth.

You're better off studying Google, Bing, Hubspot, and even Moz. You'll learn a hell of a lot more and it's all FREE. Plus, it's quality content that you'll learn...not the garbage "taught" by the fake gurus, who make money...by selling make money systems. Or the bloggers who make money by blogging about blogging.

Also, SEO takes several months (3-6) of consistent effort to generate any measurable results. So it's no surprise that you're struggling. It's not something that's optimized within 48 hours and there's no "secret trick".

You got that right, DRP. It's hard to find the real thing and I kissed a lot of frogs find good experts. Still, I learned something at every turn even if it was only what NOT to do.

In addition to what has Artie been shared, all the things that you listed (and what it appears that your coach/teachers teaching) are methods for selling something.

You don't make money off of the methods themselves, you make money off of the products or services that you sell.

What I would recommend, is figuring out WHAT you are going to sell.

        Then...

... Then you can worry about HOW you are going to sell it.

If you want to avoid clients, then you have to come up with some sort of product.

I'm sure that you have something you could teach someone else for money.

Learn how to create good information products, then you can return to your teacher/coach and learn the process of selling those products.

But at what cost? Hopefully not too much, but I know too many people who have become completely bankrupt chasing pipe dreams.

Feel free to ask me anything in regards to IM. I'll be happy to tell you or anyone else. If it saves you from being ripped off and bled dry...then all the better. There's a ton of sharks swimming about and a superfluity of guppies to devour. They should call me the "shark slayer" haha

Hey, DRP! Thanks for the offer. Let's see ... over the last year, to get the ball rolling again, I've spent a total of $150. Grin. This is my second time around at building on the 'net, and this time I'm going for money.

If you know what you're looking for, as you well know, there's no need to spend yourself dry. The frogs I kissed were mostly freebies and cheapies. Ribbit.

To tell the truth, nearly all of them were loaded with information. I stopped when I kept reading the same things over and over. Oddly enough, the other day I ran into a frog king - a big boy IM who sold me a cotton' pickin' sales funnel for his other products instead of the teaching I was expecting. Am getting my money back.

At this point I know exactly in what area I want to spend the big money and how to make what I need to afford that next step. And I sure as hell know where not to spend it.

Yo! NomadLifestyle! DRP is right - there's a lot more to it than that.

IMO, figuring out HOW you are going to sell is far more important than the what. I have a list of over 50 Internet Marketing methods. What's comfortable for one can be pure misery for another.

There are thousands of products to sell in more niches, geo and otherwise, than can be sensibly counted. Method first, check what fits next, decide on the products to push and how to finesse it comes last.

HEY ARI! I HOPE YOU ARE READING YOUR THREAD.

If you are not getting organic traffic, and you depend on that model, then start there.

You have not said much about your model of website. But if you get little organic traffic then try taking a look and seeing if you content and optimization is good, we need more info to give you more info...

Yes it is a good niche but very highly competitive. You are going to have to really work you butt off. The other members gave you some great advice but make sure that what ever you do, take one step at a time.

Learn traffic first and then go on to the next step.

If you try and take on too many steps all at the same time, you will end up crashing with info overload.

      Hey Ari,
Annie has a really excellent list. Especially those first 4. You could literally spend time each day reviewing and educating yourself in them and come up with a good Plan for yourself. Kind of learning from others and then putting your own unique twist on it

Hey Ari. Welcome to Warrior Forum.

Unfortunately I can't comment on yet another source of training, but I will say, from my experience,
focus only about 10% of the time available on training. DO some every day, but don't make this your MAIN activity.

Focus another 15% on social media.

But put the remaining time into figuring out what works for you.

I dont know what you sell, get to understand how much you earn when you sell it.

Then work out a PAID strategy where you get leads for a fraction of what you make when you make sales.

You may have to construct a a sales funnel, and do some testing, but all of this is the essence of business. And its what separates you from the wannabees.

Congratulations man, on seeing this as a way forward at such a young age.

The good news, the really good news, Ari, is that you've started early. Stick with this and you can be wealthy before your 30th birthday. I mean think of it: by 28 you'll have over 10 years of experience.

I don't even have 10 years of experience in IM, and I'm 41 this trip around the sun.

Imagine what you'll have seen, failed at, learned from in that time. Astounding possibilities.

    Oh and you will fail.

Get the idea that you won't fail out of your head now. Everyone who's successful fails. Often more than they succeed. Thing is, it only takes one success to eliminate all the failures and kick you far ahead.

The first couple years of business are the worst.

They're how you get used to getting punched in the face. Discover how to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

I don't care how great of a coach or mentor you get--you still have to experience it all yourself. They can accelerate things for you, but you must find the value in things on your own.

I can tell you what to do, but you will ignore it, or try to blend in other things, and as I said still have to learn for yourself what works and what doesn't. Plus you might be right to try mixing in other ideas--what works for others may not work for you, and vice versa. There is no "One Perfect And Always Winning Way To Success."

    Find a hungry market.

Run members of that market through a process that separates people who are qualified to see your offer from those who are not.

Put the offer in front of those few who are a fit to see it.

    Fulfill the order competently.

Do these few things well and you will make a ton of money. It doesn't matter what technology you use--worked just as well for direct mail as online marketing--what market you go after, what product or service you provide. Get to it, expect to lose as well as win, and start learning.

ARI, HONEY, SLOW DOWN! PUSH TOO HARD AND YOU WON'T GET PAST YOUR BROWSER HOME PAGE.

First off, you do not need to learn about everything at once.

Second, if you go to the sites that have been linked in this thread, your questions will be answered. Every single person here has been where you are.

On the other hand, I jumped into IM in 1998 and built my first site 20 years ago. I learned as I went. I felt my message was so important, and nobody was addressing the issue, that I didn't give a hoot about all that marketing stuff. However, by the end of my first year, I had it down flat for the cyber world of that time.

That was then, this is now and even though I've been around for yonks, I'm having to learn a lot of stuff all over again.

Spend at least one hour per day studying one or two of the sites listed in this thread. The time goes by very fast because the teaching at those sites is incredibly absorbing.

Make a list of all the social media sites - twitter, instagram, facebook, and so forth. Read their how-to's.

Go to AWeber and GetResponse - read what they have to teach you.

Sign up with JVZoo and/or Amazon - read what they have to teach you.

If you do this for a week at however many hours a day you can stand, by the 7th day you will have a really good sense of what is necessary and by the end of the 2nd week, things should start to come together for you. There's always more studying to do, but you'll get the picture just fine.

As I said before, you don't have to land on one plan and stick to it no matter what. This is the Internet. You can do whatever the hell you want 'cause you don't have to spend a gazillion bucks to try out different methods.

You should create and sell your own information products, then use the search function on this forum to discover the answers to the questions that you have. I guarantee that you're not the first with this dilemma LOL. You're at the right place, but settle down on one thing. If you want to do CPA, or cost per sale affiliate marketing... pick one and go forward with this. Right now you're just going in circles.

Well done, Ari. On behalf of us all, thank you for all your responses. So often the original poster disappears after asking the question, or does not acknowledge the effort and care that has gone into providing answers.

A hint for your next thread or post - please let us know to whom you are addressing your response. You can do this by
        • Starting your reply with "@ [the screen name whose post you are replying to]"
        • Clicking on the QUOTE button at the bottom of the post. Just make sure you don't quote a huge post in its entirety. As a courtesy, leave in the [QUOTE=...] at the top of the reply window then delete all the text that does not apply to your response.

There are many resources on the web that can help you start out in internet marketing. The first thing I recommend is learn internet marketing in a board sense(use google, hubspot, internet marketing forums like this one) and once you have a sense of what it is then you should research a niche that you have interest in and complements you skills.

What you need to do is get yourself a mentor. There are several really good internet marketers that offer courses to help you get started. You don't have to spend a lot of money on a good course I spent just $97 and have learnt all the basics. Before signing up for a course you will need to do your research first. Just do a google search for "Internet Marketers Reviews" If you would like to know my personal recommendations send me a pm. Hope this helps!
