jvzoo: first product, squeeze page VS sales page

Hi,

I'm uploading my product on jvzoo for the first time...

I have created a funnel, so I have a simple squeeze page (just email field), but I also have a sale page, with more informations and the buy buttons (and no email fields).

If I redirect the affiliate trafic to the sales page, does it mean that I won't be able to add the customers in my mailing list? (because there is no email field on this page).

Or maybe I can add their paypal address after the purchase ? (not sure i'm allowed to...).

Thanks.

When you say "affiliate traffic", do you mean traffic that is sent by affiliates?

Or do you mean traffic that is made up of affiliates?

The page says "URL of your sales page and where all the affiliate traffic will be sent".

So I think this is the traffic sent by the affiliates no?

If you don't have an email form on the page, no, you cannot collect their emails.

Figure out what your most important goal is. The sale, or their email?

To me, it's their email. In that case, I would send them to a squeeze page first.

If you wanted the sale as the #1 priority, get the sale, then collect their email to send bonuses to, or something, after they've paid.

Ok this is exactly what I wanted to know.

      Thank you!

Redirect them to your sales page after you get them to optin (place an optin form on your squeeze page). So even if they don't buy right away you can still followup with them via email and try to make the sale later on.

Since you specifically asked about adding customers to your email list, the above answers are not correct. You can add customers to your list through the autoresponder integration that jvzoo has. You do not need to use a squeeze page. Also, most affiliates will not promote a vendor squeeze page.
