Newbie Wants Guidance...

Newbie here......I watched Ben Adkins course on marketing arbitrage and would like to know how to get started. Do I first create a sales page? Do I join groups on social sites? Do I first become an affiliate, and if so, how? I really need some help in figuring out what to do next to help me get on the track of becoming a Successful/Consistent profit generating person.

I thought Ben's courses were pretty much step by step.

At least when I encountered some of his early stuff that is the way it was.

Doesn't the course tell you where to start and a sequence to follow?

    Best regards,

    Ozi

Yes you are right, it is step by step. But I am sooo new to this that yesterday I took the course, found out about it yesterday too. So I spend all day learning and taking notes but it seemed as tho the people he was talking to were knowledgable already, like some were saying they had done this before etc etc. So some of the stuff kind of went over my head. Like how do I choose which FB groups etc to follow which product do I sell. So I am kinda stuck and just thought since most you guys have been where I am you could give me some general guidlines.

Stay around here and get to know a few people. Learn which ones actually know what they are talking about. You can use the Search to find relevant Threads about what you are looking to learn.

There is a small goldmine here if you look in the right places

I found reading through this forum a very useful initial step. Just reading from experienced marketers showed me what to avoid.

No, you don't want to 'avoid' everything. Believe it or not it's in making your own mistakes (and learning from them!), where you can build a great deal of confidence.

I am not saying to purposely make mistakes. What I am saying is...marketers who try to do everything perfect (the great majority), will still end up struggling for a while.

We try to make the best decisions in life for ourselves but we will still end up making 'wrong' decisions most of the time.

In the end what makes the difference between winning and losing is by taking the hits (mistakes, frustration and even depression) learning from them and keep moving forward.

        Perseverance is the key.

Isn't the course teaching you where to start?
I suggest you to use FB groups that have tons of good education (you need to build a list of subscribers)

found out about it yesterday too. So I spend all day learning and taking notes

"Taking a course" - i.e., going through a course for one day - does not teach you internet marketing.

It's a start. If there is a "step" you don't understand (forget what others say they know- not relevant to you) - STOP and google the terms and ask questions and LEARN THAT STEP. Then move to the next step.

If you want to succeed you need to WORK your way through a course you've purchased or signed up for. Learn as you go - and MASTER the process. It's not good enough to 'get by with this step and move to the next" - and too often what happens are steps that are "SKIPPED" because they sound hard or confusing.

Go through the course step by step - multiple times - and spend the time necessary to understand each STEP of the process.

My best advice is to go back over the course. Anything that you don't understand you can do a search here on Warrior to find the answer. FB groups are fine to learn and mingle. Does Ben Adkins, have a mentor group of FB? If so join it. If you can't afford it find one that is free and full of marketers discussing them. (SOme groups don't.)

I don't know the course that you purchased, "arbitrage Secret," type eBooks have been around for a long time.

Since you a re new I would start with affiliate marketing and learn how to promote quality product and focus on building your list.

I'm not familiar with Ben courses but hope to still provide you with some help...

Usually, you start by creating your own sales page or website. This will act as the center of your online business, so it makes sense to create it first. You'll then use your website name on your social accounts for example, and that's why you should start with a website.

Also, when you try to join some affiliate programs they ask you about your website or how you plan to promote them, so once again if you have no sales page or strategy you'll struggle there.

I'll second wrcato2 and say you might want to take a second look at the course. It appears you're trying to do everything quickly and have no clue on the step by step process.

Keep in mind you need to crawl before you walk. And only then you can run

    Good luck

Yes you are right, thank you for the advice. I must learn to crawl first, even tho it sucks, I must.

You want to learn how to walk before you run so you want to become an affiliate FIRST and not create your own product.

Then you want to learn how to get your own domain name and build your site.

If you are not familiar with internet marketing and how to market online, I would buy some courses so that you do learn what it takes to get started and succeed.

I agree, affiliate marketing is the fastest way to get started.

You can go with cpa marketing, clickbank..etc.

When first starting out, try sticking to one system and master it till you are successful. To many are always jumping around and never implement something far enough and give up before they see the results.

        For example this could be

        Clickbank and paid traffic
        Cpa and ppv traffic
        listbuilding

And remember it is a good idea to build a list whenever you can.

Like others have mentioned, start with the forums, Get familiar with affiliate marketing and marketing.

        Cheers!

The best way to start learning about internet marketing is becoming an affiliate. Clickbank is the most popular affiliate program so you can start there.

If you are brand new and do not know anything(Zero Experience) I would start off with being
an affiliate , take a good course ,follow it to death and then see where that takes me

Jumping from course to course is an absolute killer and not investing in anything is an ultimate killer and last but not the least take massive action
