What If You Are Not Expert?

If you are not an expert in any field, but have limited knowledge of how certain things is it still possible to create your own product? Or do you have to be an expert?

    In my opinion...

You don't have to be an "expert" to help people in your field...

But you have to be reasonably knowledgeable about the topic in order to sell something of any real value.

I made a killing in a real small niche selling $3 e-books... none of them covered anything in great detail, but they served a purpose and were valuable to the customers buying them.

What I also made sure of was this:

I never positioned myself as an "expert" if I didn't think I could support it. The questions need to be answered in a timely fashion.. so make sure you can do that..

I have always been one to say that you must do something before you can teach it.. but you don't have to be an expert in a niche to help people get what they want.

    Peace

While I do not know him personally, I suspect that Kevin Trudeau is not an expert in all the things that he sells. But you have to know something and if you are going to be profitable you need to know something in a niche where people buy things, not just look on the net for information. Sure it's possible. I've routinely taught myself to be the subject matter expert of choice in a variety of niches.

If you know how to both gather knowledge AND learn from that knowledge AND teach that knowledge...it's very easy indeed.

The word "expert" is so subjective - everyone has a different idea of what that means. I don't like calling myself an "expert" because it's burdensome to me. I prefer saying I have a wealth of knowledge, I have a ton of experience, I've been studying this subject for decades, etc.

Do I know absolutely *everything* there is to know about my subjects of interest? Probably not. Does anyone else? Probably not.

Is it possible to learn so much that others would probably see you as an expert? Yes!

    Yes You can.
One way to do this: Interviewing some people or find an expert to interview them. Record them down and after an hour, you have already got your audio product.

Write down the points of your recording audio and you will have an ebook.

    You can start selling it!

I think the best part is to be an expert first and finally go making the product since you understand it more

However, you can try to find a partner and share 50:50, he creates the product and you market it.

I guess that would depend on the field. I'm not going to be putting out an information product on surgery anytime soon.

For most niches I don't see anything wrong with learning a niche, doing research, getting expert contributors, and putting it all together.

You can always continue to read up on the subject matter in your spare time and improve your knowledge. If it is something that interests you then becoming an "expert" in the subject matter will be a question of when not if.

i was taught this once, and it was great advice.

simply promote a clickbank product with all your efforts.

    BUT!

you do a few thing differently, firstly you must get and read and even apply what the product says.

then you must write up a great free report on the product and promote that with the correct links in naturally. do not try to sell anything.
just give away the free report.
effectively you will be doing your own original video sales page for someone elses product.
    (get their permission)
obviously you will be using an auto responder.
then you must do 50 videos promoting your free report, and put then up in all the right places.
do all the other good promotional stuff, seo social site stuff etc.

you will make money and you will become an expert.

then you do your own product

I have to disagree with that one... Clickbank products might work for some but doesnt work me..

My short answer is yes. I've gone into niches that I knew absolutely nothing about. What I did was find an expert and interview them or pay them to create the product for me.

There are some niches where you don't have to be an expert and can sell your own opinions. Look at how many people write about relationships. Some of them give great advice and some don't. There are many people out there that give dieting tips, but they aren't nutritionists, physical trainers, or medically trained.

    So yep, you can.

If you are seeking to speak to newbies in a niche...and you read a couple of books or the equivalent research in any subject...apply what you have learned in some way...for all practical purposes you are an expert...

But if you don't want to be the expert...then go around interviewing experts. Look for the right niche...go to some folks who are experts...ask to interview them...do that a few times, and folks will consider you an expert anyway...
