tool to download youtube videos?

Is there any tool which can download youtube videos? I want to download, burn the cd and then watch them on my tv...it is just better that way....any way to do that?

Yes, there are a number of them out there. There's a FF plugin as well as free stand-alone apps which will do it. Just Google "download youtube videos".

However, I will caution you that this is a violation of YouTube's TOS.

Well, whether you proceed or not is up to you. There are lots of things that are violations of a site's TOS but people still do them. And I'm sure I've broken a few TOS's in my time as well.

Go the video that you want to download. Insert the word "kiss" right before the word "youtube" in the url.

Here's an example: http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch...

It will allow you to save the video on that page.

I want to download hundreds of videos, Is there any program which allows you to put the keyword and then downloads all the videos? Youtube has bunch of really useful marketing videos and I want to download all of them and then watch them on my tv.

You can download real player.. When you do, once you open the you tube site, you will see something that would appear on top of the video saying that you can download the video through real player once you put your pointer on top of the video.. I used it already and it was okay and fast.. You can also try this: Download youtube videos - Myspace videos and more!..

Do a search for you tube downloader. It works great and its free.

I use Real Player to download. But the file type you'll get is FLV. Works for me though.
