Is selling physical info products profitable on ebay

Hey warriors, I heard that a couple of times that selling
physical info products on ebay is very profitable.

I would just like to hear some of your guy's success with
this before I venture off into doing this for myself.

I have way over 200 sales on ebay.All 100%.
My DSR ratings are 40/40--5 stara for all.I know what im doing.
I have a product on ebay right now.Its being delivered on CD.
Its a software product.
Its been on there for 3 days with no sales and its listed in 2 categorys.
Now im not going to say it cant be done.Its like anything else,do your search,find out whats selling,ect...Im going to try some of my products from my ebook listed below in my sig for work at home or something,maybe recipes.
Then ship them as CD.
A person could use Kunaki and automate it.I havent done this yet though.
As of last night,the 2 most popular searches in the software category where Adobe,and Microsoft.
My item i cant use either of these for titles so im kinda screwed.
If ya need any more help you can PM if ya want.
I can at least steer you for more help if i cant do it.

A few years ago I sold "Info" products on ebay and I found that by "Showing" a Picture of an "ACTUAL Printed Manual", not an "E-Cover Graphic"....I was able to Build HUGE Value as compared to offering it "Digitally".

And...when I added an Actual CD and a Video Tape (this was pre-DVD's) I could REALLY Build up the VALUE of the offer.

And....when the UPS driver would drop my package on the porch of a customer and there was a loud, "THUD!"....my customers were HIGHLY Impressed and felt that they received more than their money's worth.

So....yes, SHOW your actual Physical items with actual photos and you will be amazed at the response.

In case you are still wondering about a viable info business on eBay, I can say that eBayer CGCallam has had success with it. I actually bought one of his info products and had a great experience, even though it has to be on a CD/DVD.

For some reason he is not selling his product anymore (maybe he went on vacation) but check eBay My World - cgcallam later to see if he list's it again. It's called "IVE CRACKED THE CODE! MAKE $300 A DAY! NO FLUFF CD" and I think it was worth the $13. He has other ways to make money online besides selling your own info product so I guess that's a bonus.

I'm trying other things for now so I haven't really gave his ideas a shot, yet. Actually, I did open a CafePress shop which was one of the alternatives he mentioned to making money online.

If and when his product comes live, contact him with your specific questions and see if he covers it in his CD.

FYI- He sent the file via email too so I didn't have to wait for the CD to arrive. Nice surprise
