what is a product?

So I was reading a post on WF, it said 'continually lauch products'. Dumb question but what is a product?

    In the context of business, a product is anything that is created to serve the needs or wants of a group of people.

    Or at least, any good product.

    Anything that doesn't satisfy needs or wants (even for stupid things) will flop as a product.

    A "product" can be:

    - An instructional based product (book, CD, DVD, newsletter, etc)

    - A product that you get from a wholesaler and sell more and more of (jewelry, toys, clothes, etc)

    In this case where the post said "continually launch products"... the person must have meant continually create informational/instructional based products that you can sell to your past customers over and over again... for eternity.

      Hi,
      To continually launch products means as a internet marketer. the ultimate goal is to create your own products either ebooks, software, reports, videos or audio, that people can buy. These need to be able to solve a problem that people may be having, such as "how to build a list", or "how to get traffic to my website"

      I think I understand why OP ask this question.

      For many people, a product is necessarily something physical: an object such as a cup, a shirt or a drug.

      But in the context of internet marketing a "product" can be anything. Anything that can be sold: report, ebook, video, software, private coaching, etc. Not necessarily an object that we can take in our hands.

      If you can sell it, and if someone is interested in buying it, it is a "product".

        I knew that a product could be an e-book or a video. But i also know there are are other things that can act as a product so i just wanted to know what these could be. Yes it would have been better to use duckduckduckgo.com to search (I boycott Google). Sorry my bad.

    A product is a service or item that can be purchased. Some examples would be an ebook, software, video series guide, a membership website and the last goes on.

    And always launching something is good. Every launch will get bigger and bigger as you learn and build a list (which is hopefully what you're doing).
