Clickbank review websites are still effective?

Hello Folks,

I would like to know if still clickbank review websites which cover different aspects of a product can generate good money?

I have created one, and it is now the position #1 of google for the term "product name review", but the conversion rate is not good at all. What do you do so that people purchase thorough your review website? My review website is informative and has banners about the product which it promotes..

Thanks.

What kind of conversion rate do you get? "good" is relatively small!

Sounds like maybe optimizing your content. Did you actually purchased and used the product you are reviewing? People can see past that if you haven't

Even if you haven't purchased that is find but you need to do a good job with research and speak to help people rather than to try to sell.

Again, optimize your page and keep the traffic coming and hopefully you are reviewing a product or service that is 1 in demand and 2nd has a proven track record for sales.

The general consensus on this forum (at least among people making money from it) regarding Clickbank-type products is that you need to build a list to generate sales. The reasoning is that Clickbank products need a lot of "convincing" to sell. It's not like Amazon which is a recognized brand that everyone trusts - everyone can slap a page with a "buy now" button, promising you the solution to your problem.

Here's someone who knows better than me explaining this: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523

What is the monthly search volume of your keyword? The search volume might be low or the product might be in a niche that isn't in demand.

I read a good ebook about this recently, if you want the ebook, I'll PM it to you.

There are a lot of people reviewing products that they never used themselves. Some of them get a lot of traffic from the organic search engines and a lot never make any money and never get any type of traffic.

I personally did a lot of reviews in the past but it never worked well for me.

Put an opt in form in your review site. If someone subscribe to your list he will likely to buy. The place to put your form is at the bottom. Also, how long did you create your site? People will likely to buy from an informative sites which contains reviews + tips + how tos, rather than someone who is clearly trying to sell a product to them. Don't be lazy and add more content in there. Also, why not ask in Affilorama forum? There's a lot more Clickbank marketers in there rather than here.

Do these banners include the vendors URL?

If people can easily find the product without your site then they will read your review and go directly to the vendor's site to buy.

One quick and easy tip you should consider:

Offer a high value bonus to anyone who buys the product through your affiliate link.

This can be something as simple as a PDF document that outlines additional strategies that are directly (or at least closely) related to what the product is about.

This bonus should be as irresistible as possible, so you'll want to make sure you put some effort into it.

Once people buy through your link, just have them forward their receipt to you via email so you can verify their purchase and deliver your bonus.

    Regards,
    Daniel

Yes, offer a bonus if visitors buy through your link. It's going to be better to combine this with list building though.

Here's something I used once promoting a clickbank product.

Offer the high-value bonus to people who purchase through your link. To get your bonus visitors need to opt-in. In the opt-in form have a separate field where they put in their receipt number.
