Be VERY Careful With What You Do - And Say!

There is tons of superb information, advice, and experience on Warrior.

Unfortunately, there is also a LOT of opinion, hearsay, and just plain bad information.

I routinely come across well-meaning posts that can get commissions forfeited, accounts banned, etc.

Before you do something that someone else 'suggests', follow advice that sounds great, or make a decision that might impact your wallet, business, or livelihood, go to the source and make sure you're not putting yourself in jeopardy.

If it's Adwords or Adsense related, read the TOS yourself. Ditto for Ezinearticles, etc. If it's an affiliate or CPA program, check with the network or company.

And if you're OFFERING advice, suggestions, etc., your generosity is appreciated. But either make sure your information is accurate, or make it clear that what you're offering is opinion or personal experience.

    Yup...

    Spot on..

I made a post about this a while back here...

It's good that this topic gets raised every now and then, just to keep it fresh in people's minds..

It is essential that opinions are shared as opinions and not facts

    Actually,

I'm sick of "certain" programs mentioned by the OP and other affiliate programs. I'm getting ready to try to get banned from them, and make some money in the Process. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to do anything unethical or illegal. I'm just not going to play by their stupid rules anymore. "They" don't comply with my TOS

      Jay,

One thing you can do (hard work so most people don't bother) is check back through a poster's history.

Should you listen to somebody talking about how to improve your Adwords quality score when a week before they started a thread asking what PPC means?

At least on the WF we can call people out. What worries me more than anything is the offline gold market. All the time you see threads where clueless people are asking for advice on how to market to offline businesses.

This is just plain fraud and gets the industry a bad name.

If you don't know enough about internet marketing to set up your own IM business you shouldn't be selling this kind of package to others.

People say, "Oh, but you can outsource," but good outsourcing also takes a lot of experience, skill and knowledge.

Of course it's all true. I'm a living example of the power of the internet.

I now no longer fit into my pants, have the sexual prowess of a rutting elephant, attract women at will, have more money than I ever can spend, have lost over 100 lbs of weight while growing a full head of hair, shiny white teeth, and a six pack or abs. I now play golf like Tiger, football like Pele, the guitar like Eric Clapton and the violin like Itzhak Perleman.

      Of course it's all true.

That is you - isn't it?

I just need the hair, and the weasel piss just isn't working. After a year I'm reading to give up.

Maybe I should just google "grow hair" and buy the first product?

Lotsa great info here - some of it is is just wrong though (not much, but enough)

This is very true. Not all advice is good advice, so you need to be cautious about what advice you do follow.
