Check my free report in the signature if you like, it speaks well about that. Its all about KNOWHOW of this strategy. Most of those who talk about ClickBank-Youtube business don't really know what they are talking about. Check what these people say, who had the same question as you do.

Be positive always and think that it is easy to make money. By posting or advertising this thru social media sites are very helpful and your ways to gain more people who will convert to money.

I'll give you my thoughts based on my actual experience with promoting ClickBank products.

I got started with mostly "free" methods (I put "free" in quotes because it still costs you time) and I have to say that the one I had the most success with was...

YouTube.

Granted, I'm not saying this will be the best for you but I figured it's worth mentioning.

By creating short 2 to 3 minute videos I was able to generate traffic and make my first few affiliate sales.

For paid traffic, I've done best with banner advertising... it's an oldie but still effective when done right.

For paid traffic: Facebook, Bing, and solo ads work well (along with building a list).

For free: Just about any social media platform (along with building a list, too).

First learn to search for information. Use the search feature here in this forum as well as google and youtube.

They can be your best friend if you allow them to. ;-)

Find a product that is in high demand and is actually selling hot. Once you have your affiliate link your best off separating yourself because that will extend your advertising dollar by huge sums.

Once you got your stuff set capturing the lead while at the same time delivering even more if they pick this up. This is your elevator speech leading into your lost cost clickbank product. Once you have that well oiled the big thing you are doing is building a list where you can stay in contact. It takes people 5 to 12 times to see you and your offer before they make a choice. Less than 2% buy on the first visit.

For selling affiliate products with free traffic, social media is definitely one of the top ways (Facebook, Twitter, etc) as well as Youtube...But nothing is better than if you already have an email list in that product's niche!

For paid traffic, FB Ads, Youtube Ads, solo ads and other PPC such as Bing and Google can help you get extremely targeted traffic who is interested in the product you're promoting. But if you're going to be paying, you should also be building your list at the same time by sending the traffic to some type of squeeze page first (then you can remarker other programs to them later)!

There are really infinite ways to do this. For free traffic, I like Youtube.
You can make a video which addresses a challenge people are having in a particular niche, and then offer a Clickbank product that solves that challenge.

Just be sure to ALWAYS send your visitors through a capture page first, to get them on your list. Maybe offer a free report that partially helps with their challenge, then offer the CB product on the backend as a "complete solution" to their problem.

The most important part of selling anything is why you are selling it?

What problem is it solving?

Has it helped you personally?

If you have passion and reason behind why you are selling something you can choose any of the platforms people have mentioned above and you will be successful in selling the product!

One very powerful way of promoting a product is do a review of it on your blog or website and talk about what you think of it, what it has done for you!

The people who read your review will buy the product if they resonate with your experience from using the product!

As far as the OP ? I think it can be prudent to do both. Or at least test both. If you have a good seed investment then by all means try some Bing ads which are reasonably priced and can be effective

I can say without hesitation that I am considered as Click Bank expert in IM community. What I do is the SIMPLEST strategy of selling CB products through Youtube. But point is, you got to KNOW HOW to do it properly. Too many bull crap products around talking about it and in fact not delivering any value.

People often wanted to know how other people think of a particular product through product reviews.
