The importance of leverage

Hello Warrior friends,

I want to share with you my experience so far doing leverage online to improve your business.

Doing a proper leverage will help you not only to drive traffic, it will help your business in general. If you read something awesome and learned a few things, you can leverage it and write about it to create your own content.

Be creative, anything can be valuable, maybe you did your first sale online, well you can write a report about it or a blog post and send it to your email list, share it on social media and more.

Are you learning from a mentor? Leverage everything you learn and make blog posts, make reports, share your new knowledge to help others with what you learned.

For example, I made 600 unique visitors on my second month blogging so I shared my experience and how I did it to anyone interested about, I also made a blog post about it to help people learn the basics of traffic and how I made my results.

I learned these techniques from different sources, from mistakes and just doing it, then I leverage all my experience to help more people and it's a cycle that never ends.

You created your blog? It was hard? It was easy? Leverage your knowledge and experience and help other people do the same, teach them how you created your blog, help them avoid your mistakes, that's pure leverage.

Think outside the box, leverage your skills, your knowledge, your experience, your mistakes, your results, your vision, your content and your passion.

Another example, maybe you have a blog with different posts about SEO, you can mix all your SEO content and write an ebook for SEO with tons of great tips for your audience and anyone interested to learn about it.

Maybe you can sell the ebook, maybe you can offer it for free in exchange for some emails with your landing page, maybe you can write a new complete blog post, you see what I mean?

Leverage is super important and not only will help you, will help others as well and by doing it in the end it will help you even more, provide quality over quantity, start making some results and start making some leverage my friend.

Hope I can inspire some people with this thread, if you have any questions, just leave a comment below! Have a good day.

Regards,
Nicolas.

Good points Nicolas, always fascinates me how many people know about leverage but don't actually use it in their business.

That typically tells me that they have a small vision of their business...instead of thinking BIG where leverage is the key to scale, they tend to think small around getting one website up , a few blog posts up, an Adsense site up or offer a service that exchanges time for money.

There are so many ways leverage can be incorporated into a business allowing it to scale:

    1. Turn knowledge and expertise into products - this is so important
    2. Build a model around systems so you can outsource and then hire a team allowing you to scale
    3. Leverage partners/jv's/affiliates to distribute your message, content and offers
    4. Re-purpose content
    5. Leverage video and audio which are often quicker and more effective than written content
    6. Turn local events, seminars, webinars into products
    7. Evolve 1:1 consulting to group coaching, membership programs
    8. Leverage other people's expertise through collaboration...example is running a seminar reliant on other experts, podcasts that interview experts, webinars where you bring in experts
    9. Leverage the feedback you get from customers (Example on a low-end or freebie front-end product) into additional products. A simple Q&A around customer feedback can be turned into content that can be resold as part of a much larger package
    10. Leverage technology to elongate your reach...Facebook streaming, anchor audio, Periscope, Snapchat are all ways to expand your reach through the leverage of free technologies

Until you are thinking big about your business, these things don't become obvious...but once you reach a certain level of success, they become critical.

Another example of leverage that I use is creating blog posts and re-purposing it into videos and PowerPoint Presentations.

This allows me to get more traffic by sharing that content on YouTube and SlideShare.

Simply put, leverage your content as much as you can.

the real leverage happens when you have a membership site
or with affiliates promoting your product for you and both
you and your affiliate will be making money online as a
win- win strategy ..and you get more sales on your content

Thanks for sharing. In addition to that management roles are defined by the capacity of the manager to motivate and leverage the human resources in the organization to achieve efficiency in operations. As a result, effective managers are capable of optimizing the time and effort of employees to attain the highest possible value. This optimization requires a thorough understanding of basic managerial functions and the way in which incentives can be applied according to motivational theories in the workplace.

Thanks kurttasche, we can leverage anything, we need to understand it and make it routine, in the end it will be like auto-pilot.

Hi jbsmith, great value on your post mate. I do agree with you, some people need a little more vision, they're not taking all the opportunities they already have just for not making leverage, thinking BIG is the real deal.

Turn knowledge into products, I love it, or even better, a free gift in exchange for emails to find a regular follower to help and make some sales in the future.

Leverage some feedback, that's great as well! We can see that anywhere, where most websites highlight great feedback from clients, great value just from something that most people will never share for lack of knowledge.

That's awesome danieldesai! Great example of pure leverage, I saw a lot of people doing the same with great results, turning blog posts into videos, it's almost the same but with a different style. Also, some people are lazy and don't really want to read a huge post, instead they would love to see a video about it!

I agree Jonathan S, this online world offer infinite chances to make things happen, the trick is to think outside the box.

Hi megalinktraffic, that's also great mate! But even if it's real leverage, we don't need to make money or sales to be doing a well-done leverage, any kind of result from traffic, likes, shares, presence or even help it's pure leverage .

The question for me is, though, what if nothing I know is of any value to anyone? I haven't made any money online, I'm not a professional in anything but automotive...

I think I may have to get good at something before I can leverage it...

I'll try to write something about how I made the blog. That is a good idea.

    Thanks Nico,

This type of leverage that everyone is talking about on this thread is valuable for building one part of what could be considered leverage for business.

All of these strategies which are good and should be used really only focus on one area when it comes to making money whether that be online or offline.

This type of leverage focusses on growing what I like to call the revenue lever.

You increase your outputs by leveraging content into wider uses.

The real secret to using leverage when it comes to making money in business is to use three levers that drive all business profits.

The first you have talked about here which is expanding the revenue generating assets.

The other two levers that improve results in a business sense control other areas.

If you are trying to take your business to the next level then understanding the three levers will help.

The three levers are mentioned here:
Taking your business to the next level

There is a live webinar I run every other week that is for business owners who want to take things to the next level.

It talks about how most people focus on the type of leverage you present which is an important part of the equation but it is still only one part.

Once you have built out content and are generating revenue an understanding of the other forms of leverage you can apply to improve results is important.

If you are interested then take a look at when I'm running the next webinar below

Three Levers boost all business profits

    Best regards,

Don't look down on yourself, you don't need to make money online, to be successful or an expert at anything to leverage.

To share with you an example, maybe you build your first blog ever by reading great posts about it or any other source. On your blog you can write about how to create your first blog because now you know it, you don't need to be an expert. There're people that don't even know where to start when they want to create their first blog or website.

You are like them, they want to know your story and how you did it. Same for anything, you're learning how to make money and you learned about how powerful email marketing is, you don't need to have an email list of 36.000 to leverage your new knowledge, even after reading the post you can leverage without having your own email list.

Now you can even leverage how to leverage on your blog, social media or where you hang out on the internet.

While learning you will have tons of different things to leverage, again don't look down on yourself, people don't start being superstars on the internet, they started the same way as you so just go for it mate!

Great tyronne78! Good stuff to leverage, we just need to be creative because we can leverage anything .
