Question About Amazon Associate Site

So about 2 years ago, i started an Amazon associate site to start testing it. I only put 7 products on it. Well after about a month I kind of just left it and then realized today after I got a renewal email, I still had it. I went and checked the analytic just out of curiosity and the site is getting ballpark 500 visitors a month. Nothing special but still something. I kind of want to take the site and revamp it. So i have some questions.

Is there a way to create a link on my site now that will show the Amazon price and if it ever updates and allow the person to click it to buy right then on Amazon and have it in there shopping cart on amazon?

Id like to add like rating stars for products, whats the best way to go about this on my site (just a graphic, etc)

Can i find my own image and just put the text associate link as the url for it and get referrals that way?

Also, people who use Amazon associates, what have you found that converts best? For instance doing a reviews with just a couple links per item or having a buy now box, etc. Any tips to help me revamp this would be greatly appreciated.

    You need to look at the Amazon Product Advertising API (https://affiliate-program.amazon.com...tail/main.html). We developed our own integration with it, but if you're less technical, there are plugins available for Wordpress and other platforms that might serve your purposes.

    Yup! The API has that. Specifically, look at the response groups for Offers and Variation Offers. (Or again, just use a plugin!)

    The star rating is a bit more complicated. It's not actually accessible via the API, though you can include an iFrame containing the top three reviews -- and at the top of the iFrame is the star summary you're looking for. But you can't just fetch the star rating from Amazon unfortunately (though actually, we wrote a web crawler that fetches the star rating from Amazon for every one of our 7,000 or so products on our site -- but that's only for internal use!)

    Yup. Just make sure you have rights to whatever images you use. One nice thing about the Amazon API is you can fetch product images from Amazon which they allow you to use completely legally.

    This is a huuuuuuuuuuge question. There are a gazillion business models that can work with Amazon. And you should also note that Amazon is non-exclusive, so you're not stuck only promoting Amazon products on your site (though if you use the API, that changes -- read the ToS and operating agreements!)

    Keep in mind that Amazon is just a monetization method. It's not a business model. And as with any business model, if you can figure out how to truly provide value to your customers, you'll likely succeed. If you don't... You'll undoubtedly fail. I'm pretty sure that my business model is different from 99.9% of others using the Amazon affiliate program -- which is precisely why we're successful. After all, if you just copy what everyone else is doing why should anyone shop with you?

    It has some plugin as Fresh Store Builder or some Wordpress plugin. But it may not update the price frequently.

    The product links embedded within the review. Any other type of links can not compare with it.
    For revamp, you may add more articles, at least 1 per week and build more authority backlinks to your site.
