I need a better way to get my product to my buyers

Good day warriors,

I am selling a few courses on jvzoo.

I am having some issues finding a good way to deliver my product to my buyers.

One of the products that I have for sale is a video course that I need to make downloadable. I tried using my own website. But the file is too big.

So I started looking into file sharing websites. The problem with this is that these site are somewhat costly in order for my buyer not to see spam when trying to download my video course.

I looked into making a wp membership site so that I can have all of the videos in my course one one page that would be locked to the public. The problem that I am having here is that - I'm not sure how to go about getting my buyers their login information after buying my product. (at this time I am only selling on jvzoo platform, if you sell on jvzoo - I would really like your input

I know that there is a way to get my content to my buyers. (I am pretty much self taught in this business)

So I am here on the forum today to see how you go about getting this type of content to your buyers?

Any and all comments are welcome and I would like to thank all of you in advance for reading this thread and for sharing your methods on this topic.

Cheers

The dedicated page on your website with a WordPress membership plugin might work. For that you could try wish list member or something similar.

If I bought a product from you and you sent me to a file sharing site I would kidnap your dog

I have never used jvzoo so I couldn't tell you anything about the mechanics of delivering a download link.

    Good luck

Hey John-there's actually tons of choices for free and inexpensive if you google videos hosting-however one quick free way is youtube. Make the channel private and then can let them view it by sending out link or if jvzoo will allow you...simply include the youtubelink or video there inside your member ship site. This way hosted by youtube but lays inside your memebership site.

Yes, and it is against youtubes TOS to have videos on their site that require payment for the public to access them off the youtube site.

Is it a matter of contacting your host to ask them to increase the file size you can upload? I had to do this in the past.

Have you thought about uploading to an amazon storage account? This can be linked back to the inside of your members area.

So, you want to do a search for wordpress membership with jvzoo integration. There are several options for this - and you can look for something to integrate with what ever autoresponder you might have as well.

You'll have the option to either create download files for the videos, or if you want to stick them in the site to play there are options for that as well. I have EVP - which is now EVS. It integrates with the amazon storage as well as other things now too.

Also, consider knocking down the file size of your videos, and if you've made a really LONG video consider if smaller videos might be better.

Why not youtube? Just set your videos the right way. The main thing I would focus on is is your sales page converting for you. If people are buying then yea just put the code to the videos in your wordpress page. Let youtube host them for you.

Once you get good at setting things up and you can improve your numbers well at that point your income will be as such you can handle stuff on your own servers but right now why your starting out put all the heavy work someplace else.

Because of what I just said above you in post #4.

Does anyone read other peoples comments anymore?

Another alternative would be a secure delivery service like e-Junkie.

They include a shopping cart if you have multiple products and their plans start at $5/mo for up to 10 products. If the storage they offer is not enough for your videos, the service integrates with Amazon S-3 (which is very reasonable).

It's easy to set up - just put a buy button on your web site using the code they give you. You can get a free trial period if PayPal is your payment processor. In addition, they have their own marketplace so you get the advantage of exposing your products to potential buyers on their site without cost.

Convert it into flash video format (.flv or .swf). This will SIGNIFICANTLY decrease the file size of your videos. Then use the same special software to embed on your website so that people can view them easily - without taking a hit on their browser.
