Also try listing your service on other sites - there are many alternatives to Fiverr. List exactly the same gig on several sites, and you will eventually get a sale. Once you have done your first gig, try and get a testimonial, which you can then use in your adverts on all the other sites. I know anyone can just make up a testimonial, but if anyone asks, you can at least give them a link to the one you have just received!

    cheers,

    Jon.

Why not use your web design skills to help Warriors by publishing a post in the Warriors For Hire section(paid section)? You can provide more value and charge a higher price too.

Or, go through the posts in the Warriors Looking For You section and respond to threads where someone needs web design services.

There are some good tips in Barbling's post above.

When creating your gig do some research first and find gigs that are in demand that are selling like hotcakes.

Just copy the gig almost word for word.

You want to get some reviews going.

You can make unique & good gigs only to get more & more order. You can share the gigs to the social media page also, by which many people will know about your service. Beside the Fiverr, you can use the UPWORK. it is also a good site for freelancing.

You can promote similar gigs in which you have experience and are skilled in. You can drive traffic from outside of Fiverr. Promote your services on freelance sites. You can even offer a service guarantee within your gig. I've done this and it has gotten me almost instant orders. I mean like within 12 hours after listing 5 gigs with a service money back guarantee. But at the end of the day, you will want to promote your services on your own website - so that you can charge more and get paid for what you're really worth.

That's great that you're ready to make money on Fiverr! What I would recommend you do is to do a little homework and see what others in the same field are doing/advertising. Now we know what the competition is doing, you can do something better than them to stand out above them!

It also helps if you can get your first sale out of the way. If you want to speed things up in that sense you can always have a friend purchase your first gig.

I hope that helps and good luck!

You might want to promote your gig with forum marketing, social marketing etc. There are so many sellers on Fiverr that if you're starting out no one sees you there. So you give up and move to another network or you need to promote your gig.

I think it helps to have a super fast response time and quick turn time. Response time of 1-3 hours is good and turn time of 24 hours is good especially when starting out.

I would not consider you due to avg response time of 17 hours, and I have purchased 100s of gigs. Try to improve your response time. This is the first thing I check after reviews.

    Good Luck,

Fiverr has some really great information on how to setup your profile and gigs to attract more buyers. I would suggest starting there.

As already suggested by jdjenkins, you should list your services on similar sites too. However, I wouldn't copy & paste the exact gig as many sites have strict rules regarding this. Alter your description, keywords and use another image etc. but still provide the same thing.

If you are getting traffic to your gigs without making sales, then I would keep the titles but change the descriptions. Perhaps even go for a "2 for 1 deal" just to gain some feedback & build reputation.

You need to add in more high quality "website portfolio" into your gig.

    Competition is fierce on fiverr.

If your portfolio is not catchy, potential buyers won't click your gig.

I have a few gigs on fiverr that brings in consistent sales, you can take a look:

    - 3D ecover
    - 2D ecover

Is not perfect, but consistent sales.
