Profiting From Website With No Affiliate Program

Hi everyone, just wondering if there is a way to profit from a website that doesn't have an affiliate program? For example some how using it in Google AdSense?

Thanks in advance for the info.

You could put a membership script in place (a Wordpress solution would be easiest) and charge for VIP access - so you could have protected content that only VIP members could access.

Also, you could put an opt-in form on the site (with a valuable "lead magnet" for them as a freebie) so they get on your list.

Also, put adsense on as well.

    Why not do all 3?

You can create your own product to sell via your website.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I may have not explained it accurately. This website sells a product that I like but it's entirely not my website it's a different company. I couldn't really charge to have access to it I think the only way to do it is to put it on AdSense. So I guess you can put specific links into AdSense? So really that's the only way would be AdSense I would think is that correct? Much appreciated. J

    So many ways.

1.) Sure, you can use adsense. Remember, adsense takes your visitors OFF of your website.... so why not also consider:

2.) Other cost per action items like those found at

Affiliate Marketing | Affiliate Programs | CPA Offers | OfferVault

3.) Buy entire business-in-box Done For You PLR on your niche topic (ie, sales page is done for you, product is done for you, etc.etc.etc.) and sell that on your site

4.) Add a Shopify/GearBubble/eCom component to your site

    etc.etc.etc.

More importantly, add a way to build your list for future marketing.

    Hope that helps!

REPLY: True enough about the visitor leaving your website. I don't even think AdSense really produces that much income anyway.

2.) Other cost per action items like those found at

REPLY: Cost Per Action is new to me but I did come across it about a month back. I never really made the distinction between an affiliate program and a cost per action program before.

3.) Buy entire business-in-box Done For You PLR on your niche topic (ie, sales page is done for you, product is done for you, etc.etc.etc.) and sell that on your site
REPLY: I hear what your saying but doesn't really fit in with the question I was asking. Gave me a great idea though!

4.) Add a Shopify/GearBubble/eCom component to your site
REPLY: I see so just use this aspect for the store portion of my website. These companies would be able to auto load all the various products and link them to the proper pages.

      etc.etc.etc.

More importantly, add a way to build your list for future marketing.
REPLY: Absolutely. That is where the real money is.

      Hope that helps!
      REPLY: Thanks I learned a lot. J

Apart from affiliate marketing and AdSense, you can monetize a website by selling your own product or service.

Some successful freelancers have their own sites / blogs as a means to generate organic traffic and help appear more professional.

You can also consider adding CPA banner ad at the top of your site or in widget area that correlates with your niche or become an Amazon Associate and find a product that goes well with your product and add on your site. Google Adsense is good, but as previously stated....it will take people off your site.

Did you mean your own website and you don't want to add any affiliate programs to it? I don't think that this is a good idea.

First you want to add an opt in form to your site so that you can capture leads for follow up and traffic leverage.

2nd, if you don't add affiliate programs, your income will be non existent.

Thanks but not that I'm not adding affiliate programs but a few websites I want to promote on my website do not have affiliate programs and I was looking for a way to profit from linking to them. Thanks J

Most profitable websites do not monetize through affiliate programs. They sell things, or run ads, via a network like Google AdSense or DFP. That's not to say there's anything wrong with affiliate programs, or that you can't make money from them, but they're really just a small niche in the grand scheme of things. We're talking a few billions a year in spend, compared to $540 billion in annual advertising spend and $300 billion in online product sales.

Anyway, to your more specific question: you're not going to profit from linking to sites that haven't offered you anything in exchange. The only way this is going to make you any money is if you reach out to those sites, and convince them to pay you for your ad space, or to pay you a commission on referrals... i.e. run an affiliate program for you.

Thanks Dan! Great insight. Wow I had no idea the gap was that vast. J

I agree with most. Selling your own product or service can be one of the best ways to monetize your website.

I see a lot of replies but most people not understanding what OP is saying.

The best thing to do is contact the company @jordorules and tell them you like what they got and want to bring sales to them. Ask if they can offer you commissions for leads and or sales and come to an agreement in writing.

You can also help them start their own affiliate program by researching the options and recommending. In some ways could also earn you affiliate income for affiliate programs lol

    Hope that helps.
