so im creating subids for all of my urls does anyone know how to make the process quicker for example: http://www.mydomain.com/page.php?key={bm1} http://www.mydomain.com/page.php?key={bm2} http://www.mydomain.com/page.php?key={bm3} how do I make the variables increase in excel if it can be done at all so I don't have to enter them all manually. Your help would be greatly appreciated. |

As in the example you've shown, once you have, say, three "examples" done, all you have to do is click on the first three cells (bm1, bm2 & bm3 above), and then drag your cursor down the column as many new integers as you need. Excel will take what you've already done, and continue the increase in pattern. So if you increased 2 in each cell instead of just 1, Excel would continue that pattern. Hope that helps! |

1. First make a list of ascending numbers in your A column. Drag it down to as far as you need the numbers to go. 2. In cell B1 type this: ="http://www.mydomain.com/page.php?key={bm"&A1&"}" 3. Now drag down the B column until it reaches the end of your numbers in the A column. Jeff |
