Social Bookmarking from same account name?

Warriors,

I was just wondering if it was okay to have the same user name at multiple social bookmarking sites and use them all to bookmark the index page of a website?

I would probably social bookmark 5 sites that aren't mine at each site so that I'm not just marking my own site. I was wondering if this is a good idea to use the same user name at multiple social bookmarking sites?

    I use different name to create multiple account on the same bookmarking site, and same name on different bookmarking sites...

      So, in other words, you make multiple accounts at the same bookmarking site. However, you use the same username at other social bookmarking sites?


      For example, social bookmarking site 1 your usernames would be:

      JohnSmith HeraldJohnson SteveJones

      Then at social bookmarking site 2 you would also have the following usernames:

      JohnSmith HeraldJohnson SteveJones

      Is this correct?

    That sounds like what he was saying and I started a thread a few days back asking this same basic question because I wanted to hire one of the warriors here offering bookmarking services, but I also have socialbot and wanted to do it myself as well. I just wasn't sure if I could have the same link on a bookmarking site more than once. I think they say you can't do that on directories so I wanted some clarity on it.

    I think I may go ahead and use my socialbot now AND hire a warrior to perform some major all around seo services for me.

      Good question. I want to know the answer to this too, hopefully someone who is an expert on social bookmarking can answer this.

    I did decide to stay out of this thread because of who posted it but I am going to post anyways...

    1. You can create the same account name at a thousand bookmarking sites.
    2. You can create multiple accounts with the same sites using different names.
    3. You can do 5,000 bookmarks a day and it will not hurt you.
    4. You can post as many links as you want under one account.

    Now with that being said, DO NOT just jump out there and start spamming the social bookmarking sites, this is what many do and they ruin a good thing for everybody.

    Automation or Not - You should login your account and fill out your profile 100% this means, add a pic (a real pic), add your url, add other information asked for, make friend request, join groups or start groups, post "REAL" comments on your friends bookmarks, ask friends to post comments on yours.

    In otherwords "JOIN IN AND BE A MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY" ... Many people just get junky software and submit left and right spamming the place all over and not with just bookmarks but with post comments also.

    There is a pligg site (many actually) that can help you get listed in google with no problem but the site is full of so much spam it is sick.

    If you are going to do bookmarking then I suggest you do it the proper way...

      I was wondering, if you use a pen name, which I have for various niches, what should you do regarding the picture?

      I am using the same username for the bookmarking sites.

    My accounts I use "Real" pics... What I mean by that is not some cartoon or something.. It is fine to use stock photos if you want to but remember its not nice to lie to people you claim to be friends with ...lol

    The real pic does not need to be you, it could be your wife, your brother, a friend of yours (as long as you ask permission).. My point is most of the time a stock photo can be seen a mile away and if you are trying to be professional then a cartoon pic is not really going to cut it..

      James, I've seen you make mention many a time the importance of logging into all of your accounts and I've also seen you mention that you have hundreds if not thousands of accounts.

      What software do you use to log in to your accounts and fill in the details?

        My mouse and hands .... Sorry to be so simple but it is the truth....

        I do not use automative ways to login my accounts, I manually login them. Yes I have my own system that I use for submission but going to the site to login to setup my profile and be apart of the community I do it manually...
