When writing doing a sales letter, when is the best time to place it in your sales funnel. Should it be after the lead capture page?

    That is correct! The whole point of the lead capture page is to do just that...capture a leads email. So if you have a long sales copy trying to pitch visitors something, it will more than likely persuade them to leave and not optin to whatever it is you're giving away.

    Instead, link the sales page to your 'thank you' page after you've already captured the visitor's email.

    It could also be after a lead magnet. Something that gives them bits and pieces of valuable content, but not the whole thing.

    You'll find all sorts of mixed answers for this.

    There are successful marketers who place a low-cost product directly after the opt-in (a trip-wire offer).

    Then there are successful marketers who only link to any sort of product or sales page after the subscriber receives a free gift or even after multiple emails (usually to build a level of trust first).

    The point is, the best time to introduce your sales letter in your funnel depends on many variables, so if in doubt, the only way to know for sure is to test your funnel structure.

  • Yess most definitely after the leadcapture page.
    But that's just if you're trying to monetize the lead.

    If you're focused on laser targeted traffic and sales.

    You can create what I'd like to call a ''Pre-sell'' Lead capture page.

    With a small salesvideo or small copy arousing the prospect.

    Find a successful competing product to the one you're selling and go through their complete sales funnel. Then reverse engineer their successful funnel and rebuild it to fit your unique product.
