PLR packages what would you pay?

It's well-written, well-researched content. I'm a professional writer by trade. Private Label Rights Package contains:

5000+ word ebook
8 articles of 400 words each
21 autoresponder tips of 100-250 words each

What would you pay?

Thanks
Dee

Well, considering my latest WSO starts off with "Say 'Goodbye' to PLR Forever," I might not be the best person to answer your question; but, if I were to put together a package as you describe, I would limit it to 150-200 copies and sell it on WF for $25.

I've paid a lot more than that for PLR that wasn't that extensive, so you could definitely get more than that, but that's how I'd do it.

On quality PLR sites I've seen packages as you describe in the range of $25 - $47.

To answer your question more precisely: I don't buy PLR anymore, so I personally wouldn't buy it at all. But I wanted to give my 2-cents.

    It depends on the niche

Some niches are very saturated so PLR packages in those niches are very cheap

If your niche has something to do with finance / insurance / specialty types of law or some other highly lucrative but 'difficult' niches, I'm sure people would pay quite a bit.

As a professional writer and editor myself, I wouldn't ever buy PLR.
However, if it was well-written, I might consider buying it IF it was on a topic within my niche. I wouldn't pay more than $15 for it. No offence to the OP intended.

I'm surprised no one has said this . . .

The price you can get for your PLR depends almost totally on two things: your reputation (business brand) and your marketing ability.

How do people know if the package is well researched and well written? They won't have access to it until after the purchase. correct?

So your sales are going to be based upon people's past experience with your business (your reputation and brand). If they have purchased from you before and liked what you sold they will purchase again.

Your ability to market what you have written will be the single biggest factor in what you can charge.

Very good point Steve. I guess because I haven't bought any for such a long time, I didn't think of suggesting that. I would assume there would be some kind of money-back guarantee with such products.

Not to say Dee wouldn't write good quality material but I have seen some rather abysmal material from people whose first language IS English, let alone from people whose language isn't.
