I am recovering heroin user. But I knew I'd get out of it and be a success. Now I make cash from home. But my new addiction is money. But its a bit healthier, and I love the challenge. I have massive ADD. I dont believe Kern really does. My new problem is getting distracted by so much stuff. Its all about focus. It also helps that these guys are selling IM stuff to IMers. I think that is the easy route. To me, that is selling-out a bit.. BUt I may get into that after my niches thrive a bit more. But I respect them both.. I just get sick of marketers marketing to marketers, no offense to anyone. I love ya all. |

Absolute crap. Even more crap. Just because most of the people on this planet don't change, won't change or think they can't change, does not mean change can't occur. A person can very definitely change, if they desire it. A person can change what they do. A person can change what they accomplish or have. A person can change the way they are. The people that think we can't change are the same people that think we are unthinking animals. We have evolved past that and it is what makes us different. True, man can cause harm, but man can also be great. That goes for the race as a whole and for each individual. Obviously there is much to this subject and more than can be written in a forum such as this, but the day one thinks no one can change is the day you have given up on others and just as importantly yourself. I was once in a gang and known on the streets simply as "Evil Renegade". People feared me before they even met me as my reputation proceeded me. I was known as someone who wouldn't hesitate to beat you down to a bloody pulp for the simplest of reasons. I had an attitude and a violent tendency that I was not afraid to use to my advantage. Hell, I joined the Marine Corps simply because I wanted to go to war so I could legally kill people. I am no longer the person I was back then. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Those who refuse to believe change is possible convince themselves that they cannot change and therefore they never will. Unless of course, they finally accept change as a possibility. Although, I do agree that there are also those folks who ACT like they have changed when really they are simply living a lie. These are the people who like to talk about how much they've changed, yet continue to act in the same way as they always have. Actions speak much louder than words.

I thought the video was AWESOME and I thought Tony, John and Frank were all great. I can totally relate to John's post as I have always been an introvert as well. Also if I don't focus really hard on the task at hand or the person talking to me than my mind totally wanders as well. Rock on all 3 of you and I look forward to the next video coming out! |

Everybody changes, life makes us change, but it takes years, we call it experience or wisdom. A book can change your life, but it can't change you, as you are inside, your abilities and inabilities. It can show you tricks on how to hide or manage your weaknesses but it can't change much more. So now the question become knowing that we all have limitations in one thing or another one, how to accomplish what we want given what we are. That's where I think there's room for improvement. Now everyone is mailing for it. In about a week there will be a product for sale. Probably about changing your state, mindset, etc. No one does it better than Tony. It's worth the ride to watch the show. Kern and Reese are teaching you what to do. Peace.

| Of course they're selling something. THese guys could sell in their sleep ... that's why they're successful. They're selling something, most - if not all - of the time. It's an excellent vid in terms of positioning. They - John and Frank - are the goo-roos who care about whether or not you use their products. The whole on-the-table premise for the interview is how to get people to take action when they are providing them with excellent content that will help them, *if* they will only use it. It's beautiful positioning. And I've no doubt (ducks to avoid rotten tomatoes) that many marketers who provide excellent content actually WANT their customers to use it and be successful. (What a concept.) Obviously there's more going on. Watching this roll out and how they each use it - and position it within their market - could be really useful. |

I can see Pagan and Robbins working together...they would make a good team. I've had so many emails about this video (I'm not even on that many lists) that I swore I wouldn't watch it because I knew what was coming. I thought the staging made it seem more fake than it needed to be. After watching it, Tony sounds like he's going downhill fast. John actually impresses me here with his openness. Frank is just being Frank. I didn't see them actually address the issue. Visualization is good, but not if you don't take any action. I had visions for 29 years, but they never came true until I actually started working hard. In my opinion, the reason people don't follow through is because it is much easier to visualize than it is to put in the effort to make it come true. Dreams feel great and work feels hard. You don't need a course to teach you how to work hard. Watch what the experts do (not what they say) and get to work. |

What most people do is they dream. They dreamed of owning a Lamborghini, a castle, a private jet, a $100k per month online business. But they never take action, they were just dreaming. The "push" wasn't enough for them. They didn't want it badly. Visualizing is different. I WANT the results, so I visualize it, not dream about it. When I visualize about it, I feel pumped up to take massive action, and in turn, achieve my desire, my vision. -Shaun

I thought it was a good video - inspiring. But it's pretty obvious by the way they staged the video that they're setting the stage for a product. A great way to create buzz that's for sure :-)

| Nice one Jason! No household should be without a pair of SL1200's. Yeah, I watched the video yesterday also. Really impressed! This is something I seriously need to start doing again because I know it works. When I was a lot younger, there would always be music gear I was after. There was this one $5000 Kurzweil synthesizer I wanted pretty badly. All I had was a crappy photocopied brochure of it, but I would constantly be looking at that brochure all the time, double checking the specs, thinking about what I would be doing with it once I had it. At the time I was broke working in a factory job. But some how within 2 months I had bought that synthesizer. I'm still amazed at how I managed to pay for it with the $150/week job I had at the time. I'd sold some of my older gear to raise more money, stopped going out, and hustled for a better deal at the music store. And that's not the only time. So the technique definitely works and having your desires or goals on paper, even a list, really works. Which is something that video reminded me I haven't done for quite some time... Better get that sorted out.. |

Katie Couric could interrupt a TV broadcast right now and announce that a massive asteroid was about to hit Los Angeles, and many people would say, "Gee, Katie looks like crap tonight. That new hairstyle has got to go." How ironic: All this side gossip about the supposedly suicidal John Reese and allegedly cowed Frank Kern in the glow of Tony Robbins makes me laugh because it's precisely that type of jabber that is symptomatic of people who miss the point and don't take action. Which was the point of the video in the first place. Okay, the real point is to sell something down the road, but that doesn't mean that video does not contain the magic bullet for soooooo many people in this forum --- because it does. |

TO PROVE THIS... Now I don't mean to creep anyone out, but if you look very closely at the TV in the background you will actually see the real me (my face) being broadcast to that meeting room - while my 'body' is being holographically transmitted to that room which is the blur image you see. -John Reese

Glad I'm not alone James, the intro with the " we were just passing" (and happened to have a camera in our car , felt horribly contrived. John looked positively awkward in the initial stages with the whole " come and sit on my knee" stuff. Past some of those issues which repeated themselves, I thought it was a good video that will install a little get up and go in people , can't be a bad thing. I personally hate the rar-rar stuff, but I do like Robbins, can't help myself. He just seems like a decent human being who god forbid want's to make a buck or two. Same with Frank, the king of video for my money but this wasn't his shining moment, it just didn't quite feel right but all in all, if you look past that, which you should, folks got a decent video for free that if you actually take on board, may well help a few people push themselves out of a rut. Watching how Robbins commands a room , turning even the most experienced guys in their field , essentially into doting school children also tells us a number of lessons we can learn from. We should be thankful to Frank and to some degree John, as these guys are pulling in huge names from outside of the IM market and bringing us their beneficial content. Be interesting, now we are cookied to see what the actual long term sell is, guess it's coming soon. |

Mike Koenigs has set these guys up to work together and get exposure from Tony. Mike is also the force behind Tony's video marketing efforts. Some planning and practice should have gone into this video. Tony audience will NOT be impressed by these display of lack of enthusiasm or awkward video.

Sure the first couple of minutes were a little awkward but it got it's feet from then on. I wasn't expecting to hear much from Frank & John, they were the guests at the TR show . I think any more practise would have made this thing wooden as hell, infact the bit which clearly was practised , pretty much up to walking into the hotel room was by far and away the most cheesy. They should have started it from in the hotel room, with a "Were here with Tony Robbins and a big question".. I thought it was pretty good, and I'm a sceptical sonofabeatch.

| For sure, absolutely, both John and Frank went there for a reason and taking the limelight and interupting wasn't high on the priority list, but equally the body language, facial expressions and so forth all tell a tale and that's one of how extremely good TR is at commanding a room and being "the man", even when in the company of some pretty talented folk.

I dig Frank & John. I think they've more than demonstrated their capabilities and owe no explanations to anyone. Tony Robbins was selling information 25 years ago. There are few on this planet that can match his marketing EXPERIENCE. Leaving all the kitsch and other issues aside, Robbins is the Zeus of information marketing. |

I was just perusing a few sites with motivational quotes and came across some on "criticism". While I think a healthy level of criticism and critical thinking is good, some of it in this thread is so counter productive for what the majority of us are trying to accomplish in our businesses and lives. I thought the following quotes seemed appropriate... "Do what you feel in your heart to be right. You'll be criticized anyway." ~ Eleanor Roosevelt "Those who can -- do. Those who can't -- criticize." ~ Unknown source "Brilliant people talk about ideas. Average people talk about things. Small people talk about other people." ~ Unknown source "It is much easier to be critical than to be correct." ~ Benjamin Disraeli "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." ~ Benjamin Franklin "He has a right to criticize, who has a heart to help." ~ Abraham Lincoln |

I've said before when the question has been asked on other threads that John Reese is my favourite internet marketing gu-you-know-you, and Tony Robbins helped me get a start online (I had one of his books that I found so boring that it became one of the first things I ever sold on eBay). I think he comes across much better on video than he does on paper, although I think I'd look stressed too if somebody was talking so loudly and so quickly at me for so long. Incidentally, I didn't think John looked stressed at all, just intense. The impression I got was that he was a listener who soaked things up like a sponge, and that it was one of the reasons that he'd done so well. I don't really know much about Frank Kern and his work (*shrinks back at the gasp from the collective forum readership), but he seemed like a genuine enough guy. The message was a good one, even though I was already familiar with it. I liked the finger-pointing twisty stuff. A five minute physical demonstration can say as much as - if not more than - half an hour spent talking about the same thing. I didn't think it was a bad use of video and I've no regrets over the time spent watching it. Thanks to the OP for posting the link. |
