You can try these paid forums: Stack That Money and Affiliate Playbook. These are where a lot of professional super-affiliates congregate. They have very detailed information on various paid traffic.

    A few suggestions are:

    a.) Acquire quality traffic
    b.) Promote quality products
c.) Have a good sales funnel in place

As you can see, these suggestions are way too generic to help you. So I offer you this: why don't you tell us a bit more about your problem so we can give you more relevant advice? Tell us what type of product you're promoting, where you're getting your traffic from and how is your sales funnel set up, and you'll probably receive much better advice.

You have identified that you are in affiliate marketing so, here are a couple of questions: I will make the assumption that you have taken the first step in building your business by creating a business plan (I like to use a different term which is an Earning Plan) That way you know how much you want/need to earn on a daily/weekly, monthly/yearly basis.

    1. Have you identified a niche or micro-niche that interests you? If not, spend some time on this and find one that you are passionate about. It makes working much more fun.
    2. How are you building your list? If you are just throwing something out there hoping to attract a sale you will not be successful in Internet marketing. Building a list of hungry customers is the best path to success. Find a good way to build your list like with webinars, Facebook marketing, or using one of the free ways to build it. (Your budget may dictate which is the best way for you to do this.) Also, your list is the most valuable asset you can build in your business.
    3. The combination of having a specific niche coupled with your list will put you on the road to generating a sustainable income.

Obviously, that is just my opinion.

Don't rely purely on free traffic. Pick a product that allows you to get recurring commissions month after month. Make sure your marketing is really good, and don't blame the product. You should even purchase it first before you make a decision to see if it is really good or not. And build up an email list to have a group of people to sell to. It's very easy.

How are you getting sales? Are you getting enough traffic? What are you doing with that traffic?

I would suggest building a email list so that you can optimize and monetize them into making more sales. Good way in building a huge email list is by creating some good landing pages where you can get their email in swap for something free of value from you. Check out this blogon 10 ways you can optimize your email list to start creating sales

    Hope This Helps

I would suggest, you focus on one niche that is hot selling and promote it massively on areas where people who may NEED that product hang out. Be very helpful and really help them get what they want. FOCUS is the key. Know everything you can around that niche and assist and help people. The money will follow.

First and foremost you need to provide quality content that gives the visitor what they are looking for.
If you are blogging and want to get people to your blog organically then:
    1. You need to know what people are looking for by doing keyword research to determine what people search for, looking for those keywords that you can rank for.
    2. Create quality content that solvess the visitors problems - reviews and information type posts
    3. Make your post look good
    4. Share the content on your social media accounts for other sources of visitors
    5. Post affiliate links in your content that take the visitor to products that can help them or to the product reviewed
    6. Email marketing is optional depending on the niche you are in

    - Build a List.

    - Your First Autoresponder: Introduce yourself and invite them to join to
a separate list (Unsubscribes will come, you'll need to have subs on 2
    or more lists if possible).

    - Know when to send your visitors to a review + bonus page (expensive
products) and when to do direct linking (cheap products).

    Just 3 quick tips.
