What are the different ways do affiliate marketing?

So far the only way I've learned of how to do affiliate marketing is to set up a squeeze page, then capture email addresses, and then send content emails along with promotion emails to your list, and if people buy from clicking on your affiliate link in the email, you'll earn a commission.

Is that the main way of doing affiliate marketing? This way is mainly by Email Marketing. Are there any other ways to do affiliate marketing?

Generally speaking, doing affiliate marketing through building an email list is the most effective way to do it.

However, for the sake of answering your question about other options you can also do the following:

    - Create content to draw in your target audience and give a recommendation at the end where you direct people straight to your affiliate link. I did this with YouTube videos when I first got started.

    - Directly link to affiliate offers through banner advertising.

    - Buy a domain name and forward that to your affiliate link. Mass distribute printed flyers with a strong call to action to get people to check out your domain.

There are other ways to do affiliate marketing without email marketing or building a list... but all those methods work even better when you do.

    Regards,
    Daniel

Create and sell your own unique products and then offer related affiliate products as upsells.

There are more ways to do affiliate marketing than I can probably list. I'm betting you have heard of a lot of them if you were able to learn how to do email marketing. You can likely find a ton of information on this very forum on the different methods people use.

I'll list some of the different methods I've used: content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, paid ads, network marketing, etc...

From my personal experience and in my own personal opinion email marketing is the most effective way of marketing anything online these days. It should be a must for all businesses if you ask me. Many people/businesses have never made any attempt with email marketing, yet they wonder why their competition is smashing them. The fact that you're starting out where you are now makes me believe you will succeed.

SEO, Social media and PPC are also very effective.

I'm thinking use SEO to get people to find your squeeze page with list sign up, share useful information with these people, then tell them about your product.

If you want to build a sustainable, long term business, than the method you describe is the most effective way. Sure, you could just send people directly to the product sales page, but your missing the most important part of any online business, which is building your list.

I have done that route but I was not able to retain a responsive buyers list. This model can really be great though.

Other ways that are more hands off and does not require a lot of maintenance through the years is by creating product reviews and rank them high in the search engines. Traffic from search engines searching for reviews are really hot buyers.

Affiliate marketing is one of the oldest forms of marketing wherein you refer someone to any online product and when that person buys the product based on your recommendation, you receive a commission. you can use marketplaces like Shareasale, CJ and Clickbank, which work as central databases for affiliate programs in different niches.

Blogging is also a good way to do affiliate marketing. You have to create a blog and collect emails to create your email list subscriber than it will be easy to promote products on your blog.
