Default Ebook selling - what volume?

Hi,

I am looking on information about best selling e-books in internet marketing history(or your experiences).
What is average sales volume in a year for a good ebook? I know it will vary depending on many factors but on average.

Is it realistic to expect 5 000 copies sold?(if not in a year then what time frame for it is realistic?)

yes this is very easily done especially if you can invest your time in finding some good quality JVs. Also blasting it to your own list or via wso or twitter will also boast sales.

kind regards

Hmm, it depends on a lot of factors... how much traffic you send to the sales page, what's the conversion rate etc etc.

I've personally sold over 1,000 copies of a single report in the last year and some months. 5,000 shouldn't be that hard to hit, I think.

disi,

Do you have a salespage? Is your product a professional one?

Hi,

Not yet but I will have soon professional sales page(I hope so) and my homepage as author. Now I am finishing translation of my product into English(which is not my first language).

My product is based on my last coaching session/webinar(I coach fx traders) and it was so popular among my clients(I did not expect it!) that I decided 'why not' and sell it for $$$ after I translate it from my first language.

I got tens of positive feedback so I am 100% sure that content will be great and I am sure that if my traders/customers liked it, other traders will like it too. What I currently lack is list of FX customers that speak English so I could do kind of 'serious' launch.. Even if I don't manage to get it(I am sure I will find some partners) I am launching this product soon on sales page(1-2 months). Preferably I would like to make 'pre-launch' session for list members where they could but it like 20% lower cost that later on salespage.
