Finally Found What I Love to Do in Affiliate Marketing But Looking for Products

I've done so many different businesses online from telecommuting and virtual assistant to programming and blogging. After 16 years of being able to work from home, I've finally found what I enjoy doing which is kind of what I used to do for a popular Fortune 500 company. I like making training materials in a blog and video. So far I've been blogging and making youtube videos showing people how to install plugins, use google, and anything along the realm of helping people utilize blogging, social networking, and technology to market their company online and make business operations run smoother, mostly focusing on the WAHM (work at home mom.)

I think what I'm looking for in this post is if there are any affiliate programs that offer money for sales of different plugins and software that I might create reviews and training for. I make a little bit of money with the youtube videos (not much, like 26 cents for 500 views on a very new channel with 11 subscribers which tells me it can grow.) I advertise out to twitter, facebook, pinterest, and instagram. None of the products I've done have amazon except for a book or two.

Is there some place/some way to make money from google play on some of these products that I review and give tutorials on?

My videos aren't extremely professional. Personally, I can't stand the intro pieces people make so I don't make them. I started offering to put a lost pet advertisement on my new videos for free, but I've only had two bites. I thought maybe people would pass it around and help us both. Silly, I know.

Thanks!

Hey, There are alot of plugins and software that get released here on the WF, so you could probable promote them.

You need a Warrior Plus account to promote these products as an affiliate.

Also if you are good at creating courses and videos, have you ever through about creating courses over at Udemy and selling them there.

        Maybe I missed something...

So you are good at creating videos and such about products. Why don't you create those videos (and similar types of content, including maybe special reports) that actually promote affiliate products.

Make them review/recommendation and/or presell videos.

And don't worry. They don't have to be super slick! If they're personal and sincere, they will likely work even better for most audiences.

Also, try building a list with these things, i.e., promote your free giveaway, set up a sign-up form and give away your freebie. In the freebie, provide great value (the value you promised in your video/sign-up form), and also add a suitable recommendation.

You may also want to add some of your own products to help you speed up the process. Let me know if you have questions.

        Good luck!

Geekmom you can put your affiliate links in your video descriptions and make a lot more than that. I assume your talking about the google ad sense revenue on the videos.

YOu just need to make sure you pitch the product when you are training and let them know the link is in the description.

Another thing you might consider is UDEMY, however they have kind of strict guidlines for video quality so you will probably have to jump through some hoops.

I think you should focus on three things:

    1. building your youtube channel up
    2. creating a review blog where you can write articles and embed your youtube videos with affiliate links in video as well as on blog.
    3. make sure you keep your niche very tight on the youtube channel and blog. YOu will see faster growth.

    Hope that helps!

  • You may also advertise your services on Fiverr or Upwork. There are vendors who look for vloggers/bloggers to review their products/services.

I didn't even realized I had more answers here Thank you for the responses. I like all of them so far. For now I don't think the equipment I have can make the type of videos Udemy would need so I would need to work up to that eventually. I think the hardest part is finding the products to review that are possibly in demand and that I can either afford or can have a great return. I'll keep at it.I suppose I should go review some blogs and channels that review the products.

If this is what you want to do, you should find plenty of products out there, from web hosting, premium themes, premium plugins to things like accounting software, books, training courses, and so on.

If you look at many of the most successful sites in this area, you'll see that the bloggers have a handful of products they promote regularly along with short term promotions for people in their network. This works especially well if the products pay recurring commissions.

Instead of random lost pet notices, use the spot to promote an email subscription.

Suppose you could build a list of wahms that trusted your recommendations. What if a hundred of them used your links to get hosting, a domain name, an email service and a premium theme. Cumulatively, you might make $10-$15 per month each. That translates to $10,000 to $15,000 per month, recurring. Add in the incidental sales, and the subscribers that only get a piece of the pie using your links. You end up serving the audience you want to serve and make a pretty decent living doing it.

And you aren't relying on random ad clicks on your videos. You'd have a list of people you could direct to each new video, which could give you a significant boost in exposure.

Sign up for the Envato.com affiliate program. It covers multiple sites like ThemeForest and CodeCanyon. I've heard mixed reviews on earnings, but there's lots and lots of products like WP themes and plugins and it's easy to sign up for and promote all those products and it doesn't hurt to try.

Hi there, if you like making training materials, have you thought about becoming an instructor for Udemy? That pays very well. Alternatively, I have another great affiliate source for you. Please pm me if interested. Best Regards, Christina

Depending on which affiliate network you are associated with, you always have Marketplaces inside the affiliate network. They can tell you a lot about which products are working and which are not. You should also do some googling and take opinion from other experienced affiliates to make choices about which product to promote

Once you have generated revenue you would now have a Product inside you that others could learn and profit from.

So keep in mind that your journey could be a training in itself that people would be glad to purchase and learn from and duplicate in other niches.

The lessons you learned from what works as well as what does not work is all information that could cut the learning curve for others. And that is value that you can be getting compensated on.
