The Importance of A/B Testing

One of the cornerstones of the digital industry is A/B Testing. This trusty process ensures that websites, mobile apps, social media accounts, assets and even marketing campaigns are optimized and prepared to be used. Here are some reasons why it's important to always take a step back and do some a/b testing on your digital and online platforms:

1.) A/B Testing Reveals Flaws in the Design

One of the true benefits of A/B Testing is that it provides other people to explore what you have created. When they begin to use and tinker with whatever platform you have developed, they can see its limitations, the inherent challenges of using it and whatever problem they may encounter. This provides one with the ability to correct these mistakes in order to create a better and more suitable product.

2.) A/B Testing Reveals User Experience

Given that you are the developer and creator, it'll be easy for you understand the systemic mechanics of whatever platform or program you're using. There are dozens, even hundreds, out there who might not be as tech savvy as you. These people might be your audience. A/B Testing ensures that even those who are not proficient with the program are able to use your creation efficiently.

3.) A/B Testing Creates Possibilities for Expansion and Elevation

Those testers, during the course of their use, may have opinions on how to improve certain things. Whether it's by design, the size of the font, the color use , the size of the visual assets or even the overall functionality, their opinion could possibly improve the product and make it stronger and more effective, considerably raising the probability of success and effectiveness.

A/B testing is as important as the ideation and development process of your product. Find the best sample population, deploy your creation and find out what they think. Your product might depend on it.

I agree with the points you outlined Mr Sultan.

A/B testing is very important if you wish to maximize your potential profit and gradually lower the risk of your investments and possible advertising expenses.

The first thing in a website that usually needs to A/B test
    are Call to Action buttons.

Their importance is really high and they can make or break several types of websites.

    Cheers.

Agree! However, usually in landing pages, I initially A/B Test the whole leadbox first. Which includes both text and buttons. Then I proceed to A/B Test the background images.
