Selling Domain Names with Adsense?

Would you consider this an adsense site? http://solarpanels.energy/
I see allot of websites like this that are doing adsense but also has
a link to buy the domain name.

Is there a particular name for these kinda sites?

Can sites like this get ranked in google?

Are they profitable?

Please enlighten me.

    Hi twiggy6, these could be expired domain as PatriciaJ pointed out, it could also be that the domain is just parked by a seller. The ads you see are by the registrars, they dont appear to be Adsense ads. I think one might be able to make a small amount out of these ads, I wont term it as profitable, just barely perhaps to renew the domain
