Membership script

Hello,

I need a simple membership script, possibly free or at least cheap (definitely NOT Amember) to handle subscriptions on my site.

I don't need complex features: on my site people will register, pay the subscription with Paypal and then access to the content. If they cancel the subscription, then the next month they won't be able to access the content anymore. That's all.

Is there a script to do this? I have searched a bit but found only expensive scripts and the free ones were not working.

      Isn't that about building a Wordpress membership site? I don't want to use Wordpress.

        I think it is. DL Guard is another one to look at. There are others, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

    I have a solution but it is not free... It packs more power than Amember and it cost 3 times less than amember ...
