Business Website --> The Process (A-Z)

Hello everyone,

I'm just trying to nail down 'The Process' from start to 'finish' of planning, building, and marketing my business website.

Lets say the website is focused on digital products.

Steps:

1. Research Performed
2. Planning Thought Out (Branding)
3. Domain Reserved
4. Hosting Set Up
5. Graphics Creation (Logo)
6. Website Structure (ex. WordPress)
7. Content Written
8. Set Up CRM (ex. GetResponse)
9 Set Up Database (ex. PipeDrive)
10. Set Up Phone (ex. eVoice)
11. Marketing (Blogging, SEM/PPC, SEO, Social Media, Solo Ads, Build Email List, ???)
12. Keep Improving Website And Marketing Strategies

I would really like to hear what you think of this structure. Did I miss any key steps?

    There is no such thing as "The Process" and you're not going to be able to boil all the steps you need to create and run a successful business into a 12-step program. This is business -- you're not building an IKEA shelf.

    Every business is different. Every business has different steps it needs to take on its journey. Some of the steps you listed are steps I've done. Others I haven't. And there are many, many others I've done that you haven't listed at all.

    Moreover, the steps you listed have no depth to them. "Researched Preformed"? What does that even mean? And more importantly how is it even going to help you to note it as a step to do? And the same goes for the rest of your 12 steps.

    What exactly are you trying to accomplish here?

    Thanks for responding kilgore. I guess I'm just trying to learn and get to know the process better but I agree with you there are so many variables it's really not possible to have one cookie cutter process. J
