Hello WF! I Have A Question

How do I make money online? J/K

I don't usually visit forums because I personally have never personally gained a lot of knowledge or methods from online forums. I mainly just go with the flow and just do things and that usually works for me.

When it comes to membership sites though.. I am absolutely clueless and HTML is not really a strong point for me.

So I ask you a couple of things:

#1 - Can I Set Up A Membership Site With Joomla
#2 - Are Membership Sites Hard To Set Up And Could An Idiot To HTML Do It?
#3 - What Are The Essential Things I Need To Set One Up?

I have Host Gator and they support Joomla, so I just need to get some opinions on what I need to set one up and how to set one up.
#question

I've been searching Google for about 3 hours now for the answer to this and I get nothing but them sending me to buy their own crap.

Ok, I just installed Joomla but Host Gator will take for ever to reply to my post, my site is down and it probably has traffic coming to it, and the Joomla forum doesn't seem to want to answer my post either.

I just installed Joolma but when I put "www" in front of the Domain it won't load.. instead it only loads when I put domain.com and no "www" in front of it.. how in the hell does this work..?

So Someone told me I needed to edit configuration.php and when I try to edit this.. well.. read the error message below. That's what I get.

This is the error message I am getting now:
open configuration.php failed: Permission denied at cpanel.pl line 625

You need to call Hostgator with that one. They can help you figure out what you have done wrong.

          Hi Jeffrey,

          Interesting.

You wonder why people don't respond to you all over the place when you have an entitlement attitude, come here to take (but would never consider giving), moan about everything that isn't set up just for your benefit and even when people do try to help you show a complete disregard for P's & Q's and common courtesy?

You should definitely format the hard drive on your PC to solve this.
