I myself consider social selling to be

Interacting on forums

Interacting on Facebook

IFttt

and the like......

Do you factor this into your marketing?

Enjoy!

I've got clients who certainly do a lot of "social selling".

They are heavily into solutions that suit that approach. Particularly in female focused niches where there is a strong community that gets behind a common cause.

Your title "The art of increasing sales" drew my attention because of a video and guide I just shot providing three simple tips related to business improvement.

My take on increasing sales simply is totally contrary to a marketer's approach.

Not that increasing the number of customers by utilising social media or any broadcast method is wrong. It is only part of the equation.

I've seen incredible results for a few clients via this route but they have strong teams working to leverage the social traffic they generate.

I'd share my number one sales improvement tip here but I don't want to come across as "tooting my own horn" on your thread Barb so if anyone does want to read about three tips, I suggest to nearly every business I work with, then they can PM me and I'll point them towards a concept I use and a resource they can refer to.

Personally, I'm not a great social seller but some people would probably think I was.

I'm much more the anti-social seller who goes out of their way to avoid interaction only lightening up when face to face rather than being a slave to the virtual world of social interaction...other than WF of course.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

Yeah it's amazing how effective Social media has been for many people in business. I just remember 7 years ago when I used to frequent Grizz's blog and he talked about how ALL Social media was a waste of time and just tire kickers ( which I think in some respects in some niches can still be true )

I do not think Social Media takes a lot of time if you streamline to just a few outlets. But if you are heavily involved in a number of them it can consume some time, definitely. But to many it is worth it

Good question. I find it comes down to optimizing. Being able to record your numbers and make adjustments. Once I started to do that making money online and scaling my efforts became so much easier. Numbers don't lie...
