How to find article writing clients on Warrior Forum

I have been out for a long while and I am amazed with the changes in here. But I would like to still know about how I can find new clients for my article writing business here. Please help me warriors.

Set your signature up to promote your business and post as often as you can, but appropriately. By that I mean not spammy one liners just to get your signature constantly viewed, but helpful posts of a decent length.

Advertise in Warriors For Hire and the Classified Ads.

Yep, there is a lot of that going on. I think it is good if you really can't add to a Thread to just exit out. Give a Thanks if you like someone's reply but no need to realy say Thanks with a one line sentence. If you really can't add a whole lot then move on

Yes, I am always thanking those who have helped me when I started by clicking the like button. Guess I just have to rely on acts of good faith for a start.

Thank you! I tried posting a thread before which has cost me $20. I got customers afterwards which is why I have, in a way, had my investment returned a few folds more. However, I need to pay again for a bump which I could not afford at the moment.

Of 33 posts in that thread - all but 5-6 are posts YOU made - and you have not participated in any other threads here since joining the WF. That's a problem for you if you want people here to hire you.

In the ad, you refer to "our team" but you are the member here - I don't know who the team is or what their skills are. I see mistakes in the ad itself - they clearly indicate ESL writers. Are others on the 'team' better...or not as skilled?

You don't have to pay again - that is to bump your "hire" thread to the top. You could participate in threads here on a daily basis and have a link to your ad that is a compelling ad itself that costs you nothing.

But - that's a problem as the ad you placed for "writing" has errors in it. That - plus no price list given - will keep people from hiring you.

    For example:

open for feedbacks. Get the quality articles or your money back.
Feedback should not have an "s" - The "the" is unnecessary before the word 'quality'.

    our friendly staffs
Staff should not have an "s"

    "high quality web contents"

    Same thing with the "s"

You have the term "payment scheme" (which is not good in English) - and a paypal logo but not a live link. If you listed pricing and it was very reasonable - you could get work here as the mistakes in your English are minor and easily corrected.

At the bottom of the ad you include "data encoder" and "photoshop editor". Are you looking for writing jobs - or anything that pays?

Here's my point - you could improve the ad that exists now without paying to bump it (edit it). You could include prices and remove the errors - you could explain more about your service and offer some "deals". If you post to your own thread - have a purpose in doing so. Otherwise it's clear you are only attempting to bump your own thread.

You joined the WF and one day later posted an ad for writing work. That's all you've done here - and it's not enough to generate sales.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Thank you so much. I will have to revisit my thread and do necessary changes. I have been out of the forum for a long time and I guess I really need serious revamping.

Advertise your article writing service on Warriors For Hire and the Classified Ads as mentioned before, if you have high quality work I am sure people will hire you.

I think it's a good idea to go a bit deeper into the sales process. Just getting people to a sales page before they get to know (ie., trust) you a bit, is going to have a very low conversion capability.

Didn't mean to cut off my reply.

==> continuing from that, I'd say that blogging is a key way to get people to know who you are, SEE what you do and how good at it you are, so how much they'd like to work with you... or not. If you can send people to your blog, things get much more personal and you can start to build some actual engagement BEFORE they even see your sales page.

==> now, if you don't have a blog to send them to, use the Warrior Forum blog! I'll link to one here that I really liked. It will actually give you lots of good suggestions for building your article writing business via exposure... and it will also show you how you can use the WF blogging platform to help folks get to know you better.

(PS: thanks to swagdre for his/her really cool blog and remember you can leave a comment over there for him/her)

You have to promote your services all over the place:

    - Start a WF blog
    - Create a WSO
    - Get listed in Warriors For Hire
    - Create a Classified ad
    - Participate in the Main discussion forum
    - Advertise on the top banner of the forum
    - Pay for a signature ad

At the very least you should be doing these things.

You should also reply to requests for writers in
the 'Warriors Wanted' section. I have gotten
    some writing gigs that way.
