Can you share your most surefire techniques for ranking these kinds of videos?

Hi,

I have a collection of PLR videos in many offline business categories, professional and blue collar, such as dentists, lawyers, chiropractors, auto mechanics, roofers, plumbers, etc.

I would like to take a number of them, rank them high on Google, and lease them out to local businesses as lead generators. I have the software that would add a tap-to-call area to the videos, making them made to order for mobile searches, while making them more appealing to a business owner than a video which directs the viewer to "click on the link in the description" for more info.

My understanding is that, it's easier to rank local videos high on Google than generic videos. For example, Decatur Plumber, would be easier to rank on the first page of Google than, say, Plumbing Experts. If this is factual, would you be able to give me some specific techniques you have used successfully to rank similar videos high on Google?

And, if such techniques have worked well for you, how long has it taken for the results to show? Many thanks for any suggestions and advice.

Google has started to change the algorithm to now suite content on the first page, once where videos would pop near the top is over and as they roll out the algorithm in various countries you will notice that the PPC ads now rank at the top the reason for this is ad-blockers.

Now when you look at the fist page you have before the fold lots of ads then maybe some content , today I put in keywords " work form home" and all that comes up is recruitment companies!!

Thanks for your reply, I hadn't realized that Google had made those changes. Bit, with them, what else can one expect.

Not sure if it works for you in US region. But down here, we can still make it work using a blog from blogspot.com and put the youtube video in it with city name + targeted keyword in the video tittle and in the blog's sub domain name (yourkeyword.blogspot.com).
And yes, the chances are very limited due to the city name and same keywords people use. But it still works.. again here, in my region.
As Jason said, google has changed a lot. And it gets more specific per region.
    Thanks.

Good idea. It sounds as though it should work, even in US, will give it a shot. Thank you.
