Wordpress Plugin Wanted

I've noticed that many websites have a sidebar where visitors can like or share the site on social media.

Does anyone know where I can get a wordpress plugin so I have those social media buttons on my site.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I use "Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPress"

I think it cost a few dollars one time only, but the free ones I tried were always a problem.

PS: You don't want share buttons on your blog sidebar, those are "follow me" plugins.

You want the share buttons on your posts and pages. That's what I use this plugin for.

  • Here are the names of some wordpress social media plugins.

    Sharify Social Share Buttons

    Cresta Social Share Counter

    Jetpack - Sharing

    Sharaholic

    Social Media Feather

    Share Button MashShare

    Floating Social Bar

    DC Simple Share Buttons

They all have different features and capabilities.

The wordpress plugin directory also lists many.

    Hope that helps.

    Have a blissful day.

I'll add to this - if you like what you see on someone post/page, look at the source code and identify which plugin they are using.

Login to your wordpress, click plugin & search for "Social Media Feather"

Easy to implement & comes with a few professional looking designs.

I've install it on one of my site.

Use the link https://wordpress.org/plugins/. Yes more number of downloads is a good measure but also check some online reviews and compatibility of the plugin with your version of wordpress. When was the plugin last updated.

I use SumoMe and it works fine.
