Best way to Drive traffic to Opt-in Page?

so whats every ones opinions here... lately Adwords and a low .1-.10 per click cost has been driving up my opt in rate.

What methods do you guys use?

Sometimes I'll also use software tools (using PAD directories), free templates, toolbars, viral email/twitter/linking, slide sharing, image SEM etc.

Set up my blog
Write articles and direct the end to my optin page.
I write articles and submite them to Your Online Article Source on How to do Anything! and add my by-line
I use social bookmarking sites to generate traffic.

Make sure your optin page has links from the rest of your websites going to it. Make sure every link you post everywhere has links to your optin page.

Post a video on TubeMogul and distribute it to all the video sharing sites. Make sure your link is blazed across the fron of the video and also you have a link with an offer in the sidebar.

Last - read all the above posts.

Blogging article marketing squidoo video marketing via youtube and twitter... I use these on the daily and continue to grow my visitor count... It;s whats best for you and what you have time for!

I create articles and videos and use Easy Push Button Traffic to distribute articles and videos. You can use them for press releases and podcasts too. Awesome service

easy push button traffic looks nice, Oh i forgot to mention buying advertisement space for my landing page... thats definitely a good one

a good banner ad or 125x125 square does well.

You should try and do ad swaps with other marketers
to not only build your list but to drive traffic to your optin page.

I will vote for articles, but I want to mention something here:

Do stuff.

The fastest way to get a list (or anything for that matter) is going out and doing stuff. Articles work, bookmarking works, youtube works, ppc works, facebook works, twitter works.

You just gotta do it. No secret.

What Morgan said is essentially the secret to succeeding at anything related to making money online... DO STUFF.

Everyone has their own methods, order of execution and secret shortcuts.. but the fact of the matter is that as long as you're doing something, you will get results... You can't do everything all at once, but try every traffic medium out.. pick the ones that work best for you, and stick with them.. streamlining the process as you move along i.e. outsourcing etc...

Hi guys

i get the best rate from twitter and blogging at the moment. My twitter optin page has a signup rate of 60% and my blog popup comes in at about 15-20%.

With twitter though i find that having several free ebooks/reports spread around the clock gives an amazing optin rate.

In order of the ones that build your list the fastest:

ad swaps
ezines
media buying
ppc
SEO (this includes articles, blogs etc..)

At least thats how I see them.

You can't beat article marketing for whole sum value, with the link value and the traffic.

Lately I've also been using video a bit more as it's economical
