Default Help me understand List Building Using only numbers

I have yet to build a list, but I have money coming in from Clickbank, Amazon, CX Digital, and other places. From what I read, I really need to get an aweber account and start building lists.

From a numbers and percentage standpoint, what is the difference in marketing without a list and marketing with a list? Are conversion rates that much higher? Some of the niches I am in will not have room for selling other products, so having a list to sell more things like MMO niches will do me no good.

The difference between marketing without a list and marketing with a list is the difference between night and day -- real success and failure. Your own mailing list that you built yourself is like a pot of gold. You have a list of people who are interested in what you have to offer -- to the point that they are willing to part with their contact information.

These are the people that you can sell to again and again and again and......
It's like an ATM machine. It's like on demand profits. Every time you come up with a new item to sell, guess what? You just send an email out to your list of 10,000 people on your list and ......$$$$$.
Aweber is an excellent place to start if you want to start building your list. And when you get it going on, don't leave home without it.

Sure this can be profitable, and sure, I'm not knocking the technique.

But there are other ways to market to a list. For example, you could choose to ONLY offer them something when it's absolutely unmissable. There are enough of those type of things around.

Just my way of doing things.

I got 3 words for you... Life Time Value!

When you realize the life time value of a subscriber you will see there is a lot of money (as high as 90%) left behind of those who do not build a list compared to those who do build a list.

When you have a list, you can market to them again in the future. But when you don't build a list you get one shot at it, then they are gone... Even those who purchase will be gone...

So you will be limiting your sales to impulsive buyers because in most cases a person has to see your marketing message an average of 7 - 12 times before they make a conscious decision to buy or not to buy. (Of course this ratio goes way down when you build a list and establish a relationship with them)

Having your list will allow you the opportunity to get your message in front of them again and again... If you want to increase your income, concentrate on your list... Without a list you need to increase the amount of work you do to increase traffic for additional sales.

So list building will actually save you time and increase your income. Although you need to have a list building system in place.
