Hi! I just signed up to clickbank to attempt to earn some income to support costs of running an free of charge motivational education website. I supply excellent current content and just wanted to ad some banner pics with links to relevant clickbank urls such as Superior Singing Method. My problem is that I find the pages readers are led to consist of quite a long video selling pitch with nothing to read about product. Is there a way of linking and being able to include my id to some of other their pages. Such as the free offer which includes a real presenter speaking with more info to read about at the same time. Thanks Stuyve

You contact the individual product vendors. Some of them have other pages or info you can link to. Also, in the description on the clickbank marketplace they sometimes provide the url to their affiliates page.

What Al said is exactly what I would've said.

Are you aware that the reason those product vendors have those long sales videos is because they convert very well? If those videos weren't converting then the product vendors would not have them up. So, you might want to test it out first and see if it converts for your audience.

What I have found is good products have a jv or affiliate resource page. You want to know the E.P.C's of the sales page. The earnings per clicks! You can always email them if you don't see it and ask.

Once you have that information maybe you can buy or pick up the product yourself and just review it and you can then create your funnel around a benefit leading into your affiliate product with high E.P.C's.

Really overdeliver in your free report but not revealing to much leading your prospect to your offer.

I agree with the previous posters re sales pages as long as the Dead Sea Scrolls and what seem to be inordinately long videos. I've been around for a while and its easy to become somewhat jaded about what seems to be too much hype.

I think you need to put yourself in the shoes of potential buyers. I usually have a fair idea of where these promos are headed and I tend to skim over them when possible. I often skip ahead to the bottom of the page just to see what kind of bonuses will go along with the main product.

Somebody looking for a new opportunity or a way to supplement their income will be a lot more interested and, consequently, much more patient. And these are precisely the folks who are most likely to buy.

Think of yourself as a consumer. Ask yourself questions that a potential buyer might ask herself.

Make an assessment of the product. Sort them out and you might get the reviews you want to hear.

Based on your assessment it would make sense to create page on your website detailing the product your going to promote. Potential customers would have a better understanding based on your research of the product.

Hi Stuyve, maybe the best thing for you would be to purchase potential products which you want to recommend to your website visitors. Then you can be sure that what you are promoting would be of great value or not. Christina

Most high-converting CB products with sales videos also contain long form sales letters.

Many times, you can access them by trying to click away from the sales video in your
    browser.

If the product you want to promote has an alternate sales video, and you have a very good reason for sending your traffic to a sales letter rather than a sales video, the vendor 'spotlight' or 'affiliate tools' section should allow you to create an alternate affiliate link that sends traffic directly to the sales letter.

You should probably send traffic right to the sales video if you don't know which will convert better for you. All of the vendors with high gravity products have spent tons of time and money tweaking and testing their sales processes so that affiliates will get the best results possible straight out of the box.
