I Need an Opinion or Two
Hey everybody, I have been studying Affiliate Marketing for a while now, but I'm still pretty new at it. My plan was to create a website for a niche market, with news, information and shopping, and of course with banners from affiliate programs that I've joined, which I have done.

I have created the website and created content, but I'm a little nervous about launching it. I really don't want to spend more time and money and not make any sales, just to learn later that I made some huge mistakes that I could have easily avoided if I had only asked someone.

So, I'm asking if there is an experienced affiliate marketer out there on the Warrior Forum that would be willing to have a look at my site and simply tell me what you think? If I'm on the right track? If the site looks good and you think people would keep coming back if I continue to create new content, products and offers? Do you think my affiliate banners are right for my site, etc.? And of course anything else you think is important that I'm either doing right or that I'm doing wrong or not doing?

I'm not listing the website here yet because I don't think I want a thousand people telling me I'm doing everything wrong, I would just like the experienced people to chime in. So if you're willing please let me know and I'll either post the website or pm it to you.

I hope this isn't too much to ask on the Warrior Forum, but from what I've been reading there are some pretty smart and experienced people here that I'd really like to hear from.
Thanks everybody, and I wish you all success in your endeavors.

I think you're a bit crazy to create a website and content but not "launch it" -- whatever that means -- is it live?

If you roll it out and start driving traffic to it you'll soon start to see what kind of content gets the most attention, comments, traffic ... whatever metric interests you the most.

Personally, some of the best advice I've heard is to give yourself a target (say 100 subscribers and 5 sales for example) and then roll your websites out for 30 days (or so) and then to see if it gets the desired results.

If it works... it works and if it doesn't... NEXT... such is life.

    Onwards and upwards.

Mistakes are a part of the process and we all make them. Set a target and a timeframe to achieve it and see how things go. It's OK to ask for advice, but it's not OK to be too scared of doing things. Learning takes time and money, but it is definitely worth it!

Very smart to seek out consultation DCross..but if only more people did it before they even bought a domain. By the time it is built you should know without a doubt it should be a winner based on your niche, where they hang out socially for free and any challenges they have.

Do not forget landing pages as an affiliate strategy. Can be created pretty fast, tested, and earning you a list to promote to long term or that conversion to a sale.

Another positive note to end on..if you make even a single sale on that website it will then begin to appeal to website investors for Flipping and creating a nice lump sum for you to invest back into your business.

Yes, you can PM me. And ,NO, I will not shill you anything. That's s a promise

You do make an legit point. This may be the ONLY time I will ever agree that it is okay to share PM and get feedback.

Although I still do like to make it a learning experience for everyone to see and be able to share as that is what the Forums are for.. It makes our Community that much better.

But you can still do it this way if you must
