Marketing a New Product

I am working on a Marketing Plan for a new product that I recently discovered. I'm trying some free marketing tools, but I'm curious about what other people are putting in their marketing plans.

Can you guys share what you are doing to market your products/services?

Thanks!

Kim

best to do the first thing first: have a real PLAN.

Plans are what people THINK about doing - so maybe a PLAN isn't quite enough. You need a PLAN of ACTION - the things you are going to do each day to reach what you desire.

One of the best plans is to build a list around the niche that the product is in (check out my sig - hint hint). Once you have a list of interested people, you can market the product over and over to them.

Of all of the plans I have ever seen in IM, BUILDING the LIST of interested people and then selling them products that appeal to their interest is the best.

Just my 2 cents and good luck!

In my current marketing plans I have an increased use of social media, through the likes of Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, and even niche specific forum marketing. In fact most of my newer projects will not be factoring in organic search traffic into my marketing plan.

Why? Because I'm sick and tired of that rat race. I'm looking to reach my audience directly via the above mentioned platforms and I'm already doing quite well with it. Preparing to take things to the next level and focus a majority of my attention on social marketing and studying the results and impact on my business and revenue.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

With my experience my marketing plan focuses on my customer, location, product or services and ob course the price of my product and services.

You need to market your product:
    1. Need relevant audience to find your business / visit your site: Use PPC campaigns, general SEO, Social Interaction
    2. Start a blog / post about various activities / accomplishments / future project, etc
    3. Use reputation management tools to follow what your audience / customers think about your business.

Make PEST analyse and see the results. Makeing a blog is also a good idea.
