There is an abundance of ways. I know Bing traffic has been pretty reasonable for me. And you seem to get a real Bang for your Buck with it.

Hi there,

They are few elements to consider to bring traffic into your site and perhaps start making sells:

1. keyword: make your that you re using relevant keyword related to your product. that keyword must be the words that people are looking for

2. price. is your price wanted by users.? if not consider changing the price of your your product. Have a look at what your competitors are charging and adjust your price accordingly.

There are a number of factors at question here. One being your adcopy. Maybe try giving a part of the ebook away for free leading your prospect into the paid version. Start off with a low price to see if you can get some conversions and you can change the price anytime but even keeping it low will build you a base of buyer leads and these can be very converting with future promotions. Test and play around with things... You can also talk with your prospects and maybe send them surveys to learn more about their wants and needs and who they are then you can cater to them better.

Hmm Maybe you can go for FB ads and Twitter if you want to build traffic for free. However you need to be consistent and creative when promoting your content online. A lot of people would be interested but weight loss is a common topic and you need to think of something different to make a mark and stand out from your competitors.

Also you can try curating your content so that you can promote in a lot of social bookmarking sites. IFTTT is free and a great tool to use. Regards!

I didn't see anyone mention the option of clickbank.
You could try throwing it up clickbank, You'll get little bit free traffic, free links and some affiliates promoting you book. It's a good start, then run FB ads targeting affiliates who like clickbank to promote your book

Promote it via social media. There are a lot of ways where you can promote it like sharing it to your Twitter, Google+ or Facebook account. You can also create video sin Youtube about weight loss then provide a complete link to you ebook in the description, providing that you have a lot of followers. Or learn how to increase your web traffic using on page and off page seo techniques. Or try using paid advertisements like Facebook Ads, Yahoo Ads, bing Ads and Google ads. Your choice.

Then pay for it. What's the price of your ebook? Sign up to Adwords and Bing Ads and start a pay per click marketing campaign. And why did you choose this niche first? It's like selling a "make money online" product. Honestly it sounds like you have no idea what to do, and you have no idea who your competitors are. I would scrap the project and start selling something new like "how to grow red roses in your backyard".

When it comes to traffic it's usually... spend money... or hustle.

You already know how to get traffic because it's the places you already see everyday... FB, Twitter, Instagram (that's a good one for weight loss because it's visual)...Bing... blog posting and guest posting.

The question is what do you want to do and what are you prepared to do. What marketing are you prepared to do?

Then I supposed you got JV or if you could find a business partner and do a 2-way split on the money? He (or she) drives the traffic and you do the website, product, fulfilment or so on. Maybe?

Here are a couple more options...

Like EPoltrack77 said, give away part of the ebook to build your list, then sell the full ebook. Also, once you're building the list, you can then promote Clickbank products and Amazon products to your list. You can also incorporate those into your ebook...

Or, a completely different alternative...

You can turn it into a PLR product, i.e., sell private label rights to it. Weight loss PLR is definitely in demand, no matter the niche. And YOU can still use it yourself for lead generation and even selling it, but you cannot sell it as a Kindle in that case.

You could build a Facebook Page on your niche and start posting relevant and engaging content. It can be anything from excerpts from your book, to funny pictures, motivational notes.

You can also create contests on Facebook where people sign up for a chance to win your book (or other prizes), thus building a list of highly targeted people.

You can then either send promotional offers with your book (chances are some people would still like to buy your kick ass book even if they didn't won it for free) or other relevant offers.
