Really Need Help With Horrible Spam!

Ok - so I don't know who I peeved, but they know how to program . . .

I have an amazon site that I set an email up for about 3 days ago. The email I created is firstname@domain.com - I am getting HORRIBLE spam from someone who thinks that I am a spammer!

I'm getting about 50 emails/day & they are getting past my spam blocker. Most of the messages don't make sense, but some titles are abusive . The emails are coming from a variety of firstnames@spammers-like-u-suck.com

Obviously I checked the website, but there is none. . . I then got an email today from the spam crew today with a more descriptive title so I opened it & the message is "are we having fun yet?"

I actually responded to this one since it was from a gmail account, but no response,

Has anyone had this happen to them???????!!!!!!!!!! :confused:

**Oh, and the only place I have my email is for the contact form on the site. It's not posted on the site** I have done linking, but definitely no spam!!!

    As soon as you put your email address as a live link on your contact page it is very easy for a script to scrape your email address specifically for spamming. I am sure it is nothing personal against you or your website so please don't worry about that side of it.

    It is pretty pointless to rely to any emails as well so don't waste your energy. I would delete that email address or set it so that any mail goes into a black hole. Open a new email account and don't put live links on your contact page. Better still use some sort of contact form for support emails.

    I figure that I'll need to change my email, but I don't even have my email posted on the site. Just a contact plugin - that's the weird thing!
