My Hop Count Is 146, but my order form impression is O???

    This means 146 people went through your affiliate link to the sales page but none of them clicked the "buy now" button (or something similar) which takes them to the order form to enter their card information or PayPal.

    Here are some possible reasons for that:

    - the traffic isn't that targeted for the product so everyone just bounces off the page

    - if it's a video sales letter, the buy button may only appear after a certain length of time has elapsed and your viewers just didn't wait for long enough to see it

    - the sales copy for the product is weak and doesn't do a good job of converting anyone so they won't even bother clicking the buy button

    hop count don't bother about it..

    is more like traffic status.

    important as usual is Order.

    I have some products just only 3 hop and there is one sale..

    whereas some products with hundred hops or even more yet no sales..

    overall still trace down to the product.....if it is good people will buy

    Hi Jega, I would try another product. It looks like the conversion is not great. When you are choosing products in clickbank you can select products according to conversion. Are you aware of that? Sort by ‘Gravity’ ’High to Low’ if you are looking for products that have a proven track record for converting well. Gravity refers to the number of affiliates who have earned a commission by promoting a particular vendor’s product. If a publisher has a high gravity score, it means that the vendor has lots of affiliates earning money which is an indicator that the product sells well. Christina

    make sure your traffic is targeted enough...and interesed in that product...select product with good sales page...

    Can for some reason , bots visiting the link for split second count as hops? If so, high hop count isn't much to worry about.

    I usually choose products with high gravity. It will ensure me that the product i am promoting is worth for my users and hence increase conversions. So, before promoting products do some homework on how to choose them?

    Your traffic isn't targeted enough. To make affiliate marketing work you need to get people excited to click the buy button. Try having a lander or presell page reviewing the product so people know exactly what they're going to get before buying.

    I've done that before with good success.
