Do Traffic Wholesalers work?

Anybody had any success, I mean actual sales, from any traffic wholesalers?

I was prompted to ask this because I've just seen a banner on this site for Wholesale Traffic Club.

It promises 'targeted traffic' so I checked it out.

The testimonials looked too good to be true and I tried to find the names listed there to see what sites they were running.

Oddly enough none of the names seem to exist, except one who has been on blogger since 2006 but has never created a blog (despite the testimonial claiming she ordered thousands of hits)!

Makes me wonder whether any of these traffic wholesalers are legit or worth bothering with?

Anyone had any experience with traffic buys of a similar nature - positive or negative, I'm happy to hear both?

Most of the wholesale traffic vendors would inject you with bot traffic. You'd at least need to know where is this traffic coming from, how they get it and why they sell it so cheap.

That's partly what I suspected, Andrew, thanks.

Anyone else actually tried this avenue for traffic?

    Hey Peter,
Mostly from my experience it's junk traffic. Not worth a penny

Same experience here. Mostly junk traffic and not worth a penny. You're better off going out and treating yourself to a nice dinner with that money.

Well everyone website and experience will be different, but I had and is still having a good experience with them.
All the traffic I paid for shows up perfectly in my google analytics and I also received a lot of pageviews and a bounce rate below 20% which is always good.

    Absolutely not.

Even if it's not bot traffic, "higher quality" traffic sales usually come from pop-under windows from sketchy sites, or other undesirable sources.

These viewers didn't ask to see your site and they aren't interested in your content. You'll see views in Google Analytics, but those people won't click ads, they won't buy things, and they won't share your content. They'll never come back to your site once they close the window.

As marketers, we want more traffic because qualified traffic is associated with those things (ad clicks, subscribers, etc). Simply increasing your hits does nothing to help.

You're better off trying to make something people actually want to view. You can push that content in front of qualified eyes through traditional tactics like link earning. THAT approach will give you traffic that actually matters.

The most important thing is getting what you pay for, and with them I got what they offer which is visitors not bots. Everyone knows that you cannot make a visitor react how you would like when they view your website, it takes a lot on your side to get visitors to engage in your website. For example content, prices, layout etc. Even google and bing ads eat away your ppc funds and you hardly get if you get at all a good return on investment.

Says someone who posts about literally nothing besides "buy your traffic at Wholesaletraffichub.com".

Sorry to call you out, but WF is a place to provide helpful advice to people who are struggling to become successful. Disguising advertisements as advice is not helpful. That's what paid threads are for.

You're not calling me out, unlike others who post just because they can I post on what I know about.

If this traffic was so "great," they'd send it to high converting offers not "wholesale" it to you..... The same thing goes for "Solo Ads."

IMHO, the "best bang for your buck" to find buyers... not "bot clicks" is Bing Ads hands down....

No they dont work. If you want to give money to them, you're probably better off buying "credits" from traffic exchanges.
