Promoting a facebook group?

Hey guys..and gals,

I have just made a group on facebook to help out
in the water shortage in india and africa.

well anyways im starting FRESH. No friends at all.

I dont wanna resort to using a adder bot.

so i was wondering if u guys...and gals had any suggestions.

    I suppose the first thing you can do is invite friends you already have on there that relate to the cause. Also, you could link to the group on your other correspondance etc..

    But I suppose the BIG question is 'why did you set up the facebook group' ??

    Do you have a mailing list or followers on Twitter? If so post your FB link in your twitter posts and let the people on your mailing list know that you have set up a group and the REASON for the group.

    The best way to get people to jopin is just tell the people on your friend list about the group, and hopfully the word will spread.
