starting with clickbank

HI guys

When choosing a product on click bank for ppc. If you discover that the product you are looking to promote is on the front page under the main keyword such as "muscle building" is this product going to be hard to promote even with a grav of around 45? Surely not right? the vendors are always going to be on page 1 right ?

Also a grav of under 100 is enough to show the page converts but not to competitive? right ?

thanks Robert

    Nice answer Alexa.

Robert, if all else looks good you shouldn't worry about the vendor appearing on page one of a Google search. Get more backlinks than him/her and it's more than possible to outrank them.

      thanks guys great help

I thought with ppc its all about what you are willing to bid rather than backlinks on your squeeze page.
is seo primarily building back links ?

SEO is a combination of incoming links to your site, age of your site, and fresh content on your site.

If you are a new site, then you need a LOT of the other two.

If you have no fresh content - then you need a LOT of the other two.

And you are correct, if you are using PPC to drive traffic then you really don;t care about the SEO part. Although, over time, the SEO part will get you FREE traffic and that's a lot less expensive than the paid kind :-)
