Default Clickbank or PayDotCom? Vendors/Affilates Recommendation

I am about to launch a new product but can't decide on Clickbank, PayDotCom or just using PayPal. I have a affilite program set up for this product and would like to hear others opinion on fees, guarantee policies and their experiences in general.

Clickbank for sure, for the sole reason that they have more affiliates

* CPA WSO REVIEWS * "100% UNIQUE" - "AMAZING METHOD!" - "I MADE $1000" - "IT'S NOT RECYCLED CRAP!"

It has NOTHING to do with: PPC,PPV, SEO, media buys, craigslist, email submits, polls, incentive offers, gateways, forums, google trends, ewhoring, myspace, youtube, videos, web 2.0, social networking, ebay, get paid to sites, buying leads etc...

if you have your own affiliate program you can test the paypal buttons for a while then switch to cb and compare results

Clickbank has more affiliates.

Some of the affiliates are also promoting Paydotcom products.

Fees are of negligible amount in both cases.

I recommend you to promote on clickbank go for advertising on clickbank site so that many affiliates will notice your product and start pomoting it.

Clickbank gives you a much bigger exposure to affiliates, and there are much more affiliates in general, so I'd strongly recommend Clickbank

I always go with Clickbank first and if for some reason they don't accept my product I then go with paydotcom.

CB owns the digital marketplace. Paydot.com is cheaper but a lot of the products on that site look like a 3 year old made them. Then again, you could always do both.

Great question. I am in the same situation as you. I am also about to launch product. My choice will be probably PayDotCom instead of Clickbank.

Main reason for that is that I am not US citizen. The whole 'cheque' idea is not good for me. In my country almost nobody is using cheques and if I wanted to cash cheque from US I would have to wait 4 weeks for it!

I know-they offer bank transfer but still it is not enything cheap. So I will probably go with paydotcom or just paypal. I hope it is helpul for you.

I would suggest Clickbank for the same reasons everyone else has said. That has been my experience with them. There are a lot of affiliates to choose from.

I know someone who recently left paydot for clickbank. She said it was like night and day and she would never go back to paydot. Funny, I am her affiliate and never made a sale for her product until she made the switch.

And I know someone who did exactly the opposite. Both work well. And leaving both in place gives you twice the opportunity.

I like Clickbank for their affiliates.. but some products can't be put on CB..

I would like to use Paypal, but not to sure about how the taxes work with the affiliates, I heard somewhere you had to send every affiliate that made over $600 some form to fill out and send back to you for tax purposes? < --- Is this true?

Clickbank charges more than paypal does also, but if you can make more from their network of afiliates it may pay off..

Don't let Filsaime get wind of that. Anyhow whilst I do agree that the quality of the products on there (PDC) are of 'questionable' quality, there is solid base of affiliates on there. Plus if you launch on there with a quality product, you'll be heads and shoulders above the competition.

It is also encouraging to note that Ruck from cash tactics made about $50K from a product he launched on PDC.

The only real advantage I see with Paydotcom is that vendors get paid instantly. Although I guess you could accomplish the same thing if you process orders through Paypal.
